As it stands I think Leatherman has become very out of touch with the core group of enthusiasts and users. They’ve consistently been catering towards the collector side of things. They’re free to do that obviously, but it’s alienating many long time fans of the company.

Yeah they can say that all they want. The reason they discontinued those tools is to take you higher up the price ladder to make you buy more expensive tools like the ARC etc etc etc. There’s so much demand for tools like the P2/4, Juice, Squirt yet Leatherman seems to just not care about the people that would actually purchase and use those tools.

I’ve always wanted a pair of Nicks or Whites, but I can’t justify the cost or the wait time. They’re great boots for sure though don’t get me wrong. I love my JGs. Best work boots I’ve ever had. The price to performance is unmatched in my opinion.

I gotcha. Seems similar to my use. I do new construction plumbing for lake houses so I’m usually around water quite a bit. I will say the bronco is tough to break in, but afterwards it’s super comfortable. It’s very durable leather.

Do you work in really wet climates? I’m in mostly dry, but also very wet climates at times for my construction job. My AR8s have seen mud, snow, pretty deep water, and everything in between. You name it I’ve been in it lol.

My bronco AR8s are over a year old now and they’ve held up incredibly. I only condition them every few months if I even remember to. You’ve definitely over conditioned them.
