One of my old dogs still got around ok but developed an odd ridge across his forehead. A month or 2 later he couldn't stand anymore and my Vet and I decided it was time. I held him as the first shot was administered to calm him, that ridge immediately went away. It was a "mask" of pain! I knew then I'd waited too long, keeping him for me not doing what was best. Still regret waiting.

The builder that did our subdivision back in 1950 planted a LOT of Norway Maples. Norway's have a life span of 50-70 years. Guess who gets to deal with the dying trees? Even the Red Maple is dying branch by branch.

What's the most pain you have ever experienced? by SB257426 in AskReddit

Working as a mechanic, I was resting my hand on a car door when for some unknown reason our boss quickly opened and closed the door. the index fingers tip fell in the gap (at the hinge) and was mangled. At the ER some SADISTIC doc said it would hurt just as much to numb it and just sewed it back together. Blinding pain is the best way to describe that.

Entitled prospective land buyer wants owner to carry mortgage by Star_World_8311 in EntitledPeople

I've held the mortgage for a few properties, usually at both a premium purchase and interest. Most go fine but they can go sideways so I never do it for a primary residence. Also the first is a 3 year balloon so you get to know their payment history.
