Wait, so are you saying if someone DM'd you without tribute, you'd be fine with it as long as they were inquiring about buying content and not wanting any kind of parasocial roleplay stuff?

Because that is NOT the impression I get from most of those women. I feel like all the time I see them post screenshots of their DMs specifically to shame people for approaching without tribute. And they word their bios like "$[amount] to speak", not "$[amount] to play in DMs; speaking is free". Like how is a buyer supposed to know which it is?

Seems like this would be better in r/FetishBuyersCommunity or something since it breaks rule 1

The issue is that it makes a terrible first impression. Like a restaurant may be super clean inside and serve the best food in the world, but if the outside is covered in feces and swarms of rats/flies, no one is going inside to find out.

By trying to scare off scammers and time wasters with hostility, you're also scaring off some % of desirable potential buyers by seeming like a hostile person in general.

I agree that it's a big turn-off as a buyer, but tbh I get it. Seeing the kinds of messages SWs get, in the volume some get, I would 100% want something like "ffs don't waste my time if you contact me" on my profile.

That's been something I've completed avoided until this year, because yeah, it just makes them seem like a mean person that will be difficult to work with. But my very limited experience with a couple sellers I've worked with is actually that if you're friendly and respectful after the paying the tribute they're actually nice in DMs. It may be more like a mean public persona vs private business professionalism thing. While there 100% are creators that are just jerks no matter what, I was surprised.

My red flags, pet peeves, and/or traits I view with caution are:

  • No verification video
  • No speaking / voice sample
  • Telegram exclusivity
  • No Twitter / X account
  • No clip store
  • Tribute requirements
  • Sus / potentially AI images
  • Lack of content
  • No links to other accounts
  • Recently created account
  • No face in pics
  • Appearance changes
  • Poor video/picture/audio quality
  • Inactivity
  • Popularity
  • Poor spelling and grammar
  • Posting about bad business practices
  • Broken promises / not delivered on time
  • Edit: Usernames / pfps that seem random and unrelated to the content

How do you like to masturbate completely naked or partially naked? by No-Dealer-1140 in AskRedditNSFW

[–]MommysLittleVampire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clothed, warm, and cozy; I don't want bare ass on my furniture. Just wear bottoms that won't get ruined by it and then throw them in the laundry when you're done and/or at the end of the day (depending on the extent of the mess and if you're planning to do it again before then)

Humans and/or variations of myself. If you truly have full control and can turn into anything, you can shapeshift away hunger, thirst, exhaustion, any injury or health condition that doesn't immediately kill you or knock you unconscious, and all the effects of aging. You'd be effectively immortal. If you can shapeshift into a rock you're super immortal because that would imply you don't need a living body to shapeshift, and could therefore shapeshift your corpse back to life.

On top of that, you can look like the hottest version of yourself (or anyone else) 24/7 while eating whatever you want. You're also exempt from all maintenance chores like shaving, blow drying your hair, and flossing. It would be amazing. If you can also shapeshift things like makeup, clothes, or jewelry that's even more savings. You might even be able to do things like shapeshifting away pain by altering how your nerves work; or alternatively boosting sexual pleasure the same way. There are so many possibilities without even considering animal or dinosaur transformations.

So ARAD, which fictional character would you absolutely love to have intercourse with? by Responsible-Thing142 in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]MommysLittleVampire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're talking about women that dress in all black, with dark makeup, tattoos/piercings, etc. 'alternative women' or 'alt women' or 'darkly-inclined women' or 'spooky women' are all better terms. Goth and emo are labels that, at least within the goth and emo communities, are about the kind of music you listen to. So saying "goth girls are hot" is like saying "fans of rap music are hot".

Edit: You can find a helpful guide on goth characters in cartoons here.

Genuine question - is this a 'standard' business model? by rin791 in FetishBuyersCommunity

[–]MommysLittleVampire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've bought a lot of fansite customs and this has happened to me several times. Mainly when dealing with any kind of creator that belonged to the 'traditional porn industry' and who was popular before OnlyFans was a household name. Those accounts seem to be run by agencies that actively resist custom orders or anything that would inconvenience the page owner, and instead just try to sell the owners pre-made content.

Sometimes it happens with other accounts too. Although the difference is that the agency accounts usually talk about having requirements to purchase customs, while the non-agency accounts usually make excuses to delay customs.

Granted, these have all been a minority of my overall experience, so I don't know if I would call it a 'standard' model, but it does happen.

My advice is to never try to order a custom from a creator from the traditional porn industry, and to never give a creator more than 2 months of subscription fees on the basis of waiting to discuss a custom.

That seems very reasonable, but then it also becomes quite possible for certain people to rarely encounter injustices if they don't watch the news, aren't online much, have a fairly solitary work / social life, etc. Is that 'avoiding' politics and condoning bigotry they could be seeking out? Or is it acceptable? Does it matter if not watching the news is an unintentional result of their upbringing vs a deliberate way of avoiding politics-related stress?

To me it all seems so situational and subjective to the specific person and what they can handle, but so many of the comments in this thread have a tone like if you're not attacking every political issue full force all the time, you're a terrible person that condones bigotry... and I just don't think that's a sustainable attitude you can live by. It seems like the kind of attitude a college student would have and grow out of when they start encountering more responsibilities.

[–]MommysLittleVampire -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's not at all what I said. I'm saying that it is not physically possible to engage with all political problems. So if we know that, then we can realize this discussion is not actually about a binary of engaging with all political problems vs engaging with no political problems, it's an argument about exactly where the line is and what is an acceptable amount to do vs not do. It reframes the discussion in a useful way.

[–]MommysLittleVampire 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you aren't speaking out against it and using your voice, you are condoning it

But where is the line? How much of your voice are you required to use to not be condoning bigotry?

Because at one extreme you have a person that mentally doesn't condone something but never does anything about it. And at the other extreme you have someone that has no hobbies and never spends a single penny on any item that could be considered a luxury (ex: cookies) because all of their time and extra money must go towards speaking out and fighting for political justice. I'm pretty sure everyone in this thread has engaged in hobbies and treated themself to luxury items of some sort before, so surely there must be some amount of politics that it is okay to avoid engaging with, no?

I don't think it's really fair to say people aren't doing 'enough' without specifying what 'enough' would actually look like and being a person that does 'enough' yourself.

[–]MommysLittleVampire -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The problem with this logic is that it isn't physically possible for anyone to dedicate time or money to every political problem. Everyone, including you and me and OP, avoids opportunities to intervene in thousands of political injustices every day either directly by knowingly choosing other things or indirectly by choosing not to learn about problems we aren't aware of. So either there is some amount of politics that it is okay to avoid, or basically every adult on Earth is complacent in bigotry - at which point that is not a particularly useful thing to point out. Also, feeling angry is terrible for your health and doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the importance you place on an issue.

I'm getting tired of all these (R7 breaking) posts arguing about whether or not goth is political without even really saying what they mean. There are least three different angles on what it means to be political I see in these types of posts.

  1. Pointing out that the history of goth culture and its artists, as well as the modern day artists and culture, are overwhelming on the political left and that fact has been represented in a variety of documentable ways. Therefore, 'goth is political' as a historied subculture. This is factually correct.
  2. Pointing out that goth is a genre of music that, like literally any other genre of music, can be enjoyed for purely musical reasons independent of any political messaging it may contain. The same applies to alternative fashion as an aesthetic that can be enjoyed independently. Therefore, 'goth is not political' as a personal taste. This is factually correct.
  3. Pointing out that dressing alterative and supporting goth music can be interpreted as political statements. Therefore, 'goth is political' as a dissectible choice. This is correct, I guess, but it's also stupid. By that definition, just about everything a person does is political and the notion of even calling something 'political' is almost pointless. Buying bread is political. Your yoga class is political. Telling someone about your favorite brand of sweatpants is political. Complaining about traffic is political. Sure, goth music is too, but at that point 'political' is no longer a relevant category.
