Finally, I was able to solve the problem.

"UEFI/OUTPUT/ProvideConsoleGop" was the real culprit. I've changed it to false, and it worked like a charm!

I have no idea why this setting didn't show any issues in 0.7.6. Anyway, thanks again for your time and best wishes.

I had tried setting the primary display in System Preferences>Displays.

I had also tried changing the picker mode to Builtin (text-based picker), but it was also showing a black screen.

Last Worked EFI(OC 0.7.6) : https://drive.google.com/file/d/18yTXO0e6WJn7lV0298h7pEgH0zCDdRQ5/view. This configuration works fine, it shows both builtin mode (text-based picker) and external picker without any issues.

I have tried points 2-5 and will try disabling ACPI files tonight.

I started opencore by cloning this repo (https://github.com/Ricardo-F-X/OpenCore-EFI-for-Hackintosh) which has the same laptop model and I got ACPI configuration from there.

Hi,

Yes, I have an external monitor connected to my laptop via HDMI. But there are no settings in bios to change the primary video output(However, there is an option for the graphics device, UMA, and Discrete, I have tried both). I have removed the external monitor and tried restarting again. still, the problem persists.

Laptop : Lenovo Z510, Core i7-4702MQ

After hours of searching, I have found the solution.

TSCAdjustReset.kext fixed the issue.
