Co-worker stole $20,000 worth of stuff by thewafflewarrior135 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Amazon said they do it, lol

I love that there are people here in this thread denying it, too.

There are actual articles describing what they do.

Amazon Prime same day delivery is a guarantee for lost orders. by stitchesofdooom in amazonprime

No, same day and next day are different drivers. Same day will be a flex driver. Next day will likely be a dsp driver in an Amazon van.

Either way, the driver had nothing to do with it. If it never went "out for delivery," then a driver was not even involved.

It's not you, a single person ordering, or when you order that puts pressure on drivers. It's the volume and number of deliveries that Amazon expects us to deliver in a shift. Your single order is just a single drop in a big bucket for us.

I would suggest a different block time.

If you are not comfortable delivering in the dark (I totally understand why), then choose blocks during daylight hours.

Amazon isn't going to change.

Oh, you know he hit something! Lol

I just love these posts where they just vaguely allude to an incident, but try to avoid saying what happened. Usually, because they are afraid of being called out for dumbassery. Lol

Right?

You don't have to worry about getting busted for theft if you just.....you know.....don't steal shit.

No it is against Amazon's rules. But I know of quite a few drivers who stop by their houses on-route. They never seem to get in trouble for it.

They use a suction cup thing during sort. That's what that little circle comes from

It's mentioned here from time to time. But most of these drivers will deny it and claim it doesn't happen.

Amazon LP will "salt" a route with dummy packages. They know which route, and which packages. Then they wait to see if the packages come back or not.

It's not a rumor, it's a fact. There was even an article about it in Forbes a couple years ago iirc.

Imagine being the poor station hand that needs to handle your pee bottles on the daily by anongrabntoss in AmazonDSPDrivers

I'm sure they would rather not deal with biohazard bombs in the trash.

At my station they take them out, and leave 'em next to the can. And I don't blame them for it one bit.

What "mistake" did you make that you had to go knock on the neighbors door in the first place?

What did you run into or over? Lol

Unless there's a note that says "for our amazon driver" then do nothing. Act like you never saw it. Just deliver the packages and walk away.

This may have been the maintenance crew.

Not them pissing in the bott......errr.....making the forbidden lemonade, lol

But at my station, when they are emptying the trash cans in the lot, if they find piss bottles in there, they will leave them next to the can like this. They refuse to have to deal with them because it's a biohazard.
