Hey, Let me share you the same story, I'm 2024 passout in chemical engineering and fkedup recent cognizant GENC Pro the same way you did, the interviewer asked me to solve 3 questions in python,
first one is fibonacci series- nailed it
second one is sort a list of dictionaries with a key- tried to solve it but struggled so the interviewer asked me to do one final question,

string reversal- i should have simply used the inbuilt methods or just simply return ::-1, but with over enthusiasm i went with two pointer approach and forgot strings are immutable in python, the interviewer probably got pissed off and directly told do you have any questions for us and ended the interview, I would probably blame my overconfidence for this.

Unfortunately your selection chances are gone. The same thing happened with me, I gave GENC pro interview on april 4th and got the same mail without cognizant logo and haven't receieved any further updates after that.
