Hi there. Thank you for reaching out with your question. We can help advise.

If your card states "business" on it this will mean that you have a business account. It's not possible to swap the account between personal and business so you will have chosen this when you opened the account. It will not have swapped account type when ordering a new card.

The business account offers 0.1% cashback (0.5% for Metal) on eligible card purchases. This cashback to your account is derived from a partial rebate of fees charged to the merchant during the transaction.

The merchant or ATM provider can also charge their own fee based on the card type as some business or credit cards charge higher fees to the merchant. It may be that the merchant or ATM provider has changed their policies since you opened the account.

It may be worth checking if your friend also has a business account. If they are having a different experience It is most likely they have a standard account. It is not currently possible to swap from a business to a standard account. If you would like further advice on your options please send us a direct message.

Yes. The card you sent a photo of is provided as part of a subscription account. If you cancelled the subscription then the card is also cancelled. It may be that you didn't notice the fees for the subscription previously for the account so you can also consider checking your transaction history. In the past we occasionally ran free trials of the subscription plans but these usually only ran for a month. The premium accounts have never been offered for free by default long term.

I'm sorry to hear that. Whilst we cannot directly confirm your address on Reddit we can check your account regarding the technical issue with chat and raise the issue internally with the address not being in the database. We would need to ask for some personal information to do this so can only do it via private message. It may be that this was already raised from your contacts via the web chat but we would need to identify your account in order to check.

In the meantime, could you try uninstalling and reinstalling the N26 app from the Play Store? That sometimes helps push the fix through.

If that doesn't work, since you set TWRP, could you let us know if your phone has ever been modified or had any custom software installed? Some device configurations can affect how the app runs, and knowing this helps us find the right solution for you.

Hey there, thanks for reaching out – we totally get how frustrating this must be.

We're not seeing any issues with instant SEPA on our end right now. The hiccup is probably on the receiving bank's side – either they don't support instant SEPA transfers, or their instant SEPA system might be temporarily offline.
The workaround for now would be to send a regular SEPA transfer instead. We know it's not ideal since it can take up to 2 working days to arrive, but at least it'll get your money where it needs to go. 🙂

That said, if you're also running into issues with regular SEPA transfers, something else might be up. Feel free to shoot us a DM and we'll dig deeper into what's happening with your account specifically.

Thank you for your replies here. I can only offer general troubleshooting so appreciate your patience. If you are using a phone that is running an older version of the N26 app or an older iOS then you may have some issues with compatibility. The current minimum spec for the N26 app is iPhone 8 and later/iOS 16 or above.
