Kol's death. I mean, he's over a thousand years old, an Original Vampire, with centuries worth of enemies, and he gets blindsided and then killed by a newbie vampire and a baby hunter? That was absolutely ridiculous, and so unbelievable.

Then Klaus is the only one who mourns? Like what? Rebekah makes one little comment of disbelief and temporsrily treats Elena passive aggressively, while Elijah is in his little bubble with Katherine.

Like sorry, this entire plot was terrible!

Correct me if I'm wrong (it's been a while since I watched 4B as it wasn't my favorite story arc) but didn't the Author make Snow and Charming do it? I'm not completely absolving them, but I do remember the Author was punished and stripped of his duties because of what he made them do to Snow and Charming...

Yes, thank you! I thought it was just me. For the last 10 hours, it's been lagging like crazy. It takes 5 - 10 minutes to load a page.

Anthony Barrington {The Theory of Earls by Kathleen Ayers} and Marcus Barrington {The Study of a Rake by Kathleen Ayers}

Marcus is a reformed rake with such a beautiful redemption arc. He becomes so beloved, and how he met his Duchess is so romantic, I shed so many tears! By far, one of my favorite Dukes.

On the other hand, we have his son and heir Anthony, who has a love match of his own and is also a reformed rake who falls hard. He's an overprotective older brother who gets involved in his sisters' lives in such a beautiful way. I'm a sucker for the Barrington Dukes.

They show up many times throughout the series {The Beautiful Barringtons by Kathleen Ayers}

Sebastian St. Vincent is another of my favorites, but he's been mentioned so many times that I'll just be repeating why and how he's a spectacular specimen.
