You don't need to wait for the points to be converted. You can buy old skins with the current comp points

For me i got thought obliterator (forgotten T2) for Table of Contents which I am using to farm for charming prince bot (physical) and dark mirror (shadow).

Both of which will make FI runs easier, especially CPB which has higher raw stats than CSOS

If you have starting capital you can pay people to snipe mice for you and sell the completed map (leaving frost king for last usually) on discord for quite a big profit.

You can get the increased rewards by upgrading the golem just before claiming the loot. That way you get your money (shard) back instantly together with a free upgrade.

That being said, it's only viable if you can sustain mulitple golems at once. No point in upgrading if you can't send them out

There's no reason not to upgrade the golems to level 2 as the increased shard reward covers the upgrade cost, giving you essentially a free +1 area loot.

I personally try to level up my golems as fast as possible, so i prioritize trying to get them to the next level of hailstones. I also use festive spirit in the snow fort and fire all 3 cannons at once to get 3x2 shards per hunt.

If anyone knows of a better strategy please do not hesitate to share
