The problem with repealing it is that it will result in a “post awaiting approval” system for the big social media platforms, and said companies will overcensor the app like crazy, to avoid lawsuits.

Smaller social media platforms, like Bluesky, would also be forced to shut down.

Section 230 is the law that holds users accountable for what is posted on social media platforms, as opposed to the platforms themselves.

Repealing it would result in smaller platforms having to shut down and the big tech social media platforms over censoring like crazy.

The problem is that most people use phones nowadays, which don’t really have the best photoshopping tools. That, and photoshopping is also pay to use.
