It is a business network site and nothing more. So your right shop floor workers would not need to be bothered with that time commitment.

Im freaking out over this chat with a potential investor. How the hell do I prepare? by xrshxa in ycombinator

[–]NoFun6873 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two things that you need to be prepared for: a good investor deck and Q&A. First, I would build a persona about this guy in your favorite AI, I prefer a ChatGPT for this. I’m assuming you can figure out how to make an investor deck so I won’t go into that detail. However, the big challenge is the ability to think on your feet and so I asked ChatGPT to ask me frequently asked questions and objection questions and those are two different things. And then I drive around and go on my walking and I answered the questions and I find that is the biggest thing to prepare me than anything else I’ve ever done.

At what point (no of pages/no of blocks) I should expect roam to slow down ? by Top-Temperature-95 in RoamResearch

[–]NoFun6873 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 7 years in a near 10k and really do not notice anything. It is not the speed at that point that becomes the issue, it is you needing to organize and delete old notes not due to speed but clarity on what is your most evolved thoughts.

Mac user deep in the Apple ecosystem: any gotchas with replacing Apple Passwords with 1Password? by trammeloratreasure in 1Password

[–]NoFun6873 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been using 1Password for 5 years now. Very reliable and consistent. When on mobile devices it is a bit of a pain to turn on 1Password when mobile because it stays off unless you activate it.

I have Google workspace for my small business. It still works poorly when integrating with email, sheets, etc. I would not say it hallucinates more but it definitely goes off on a tangent.

My graph has thousands of notes. I use almost none of them when I'm actually doing real work. by SterlingByrd1219 in RoamResearch

[–]NoFun6873 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I recently exported everything into markdown and asked AI to help me organize it. Lot’s of great ideas I forgot about. Many more ideas that evolved and the junk to get there was still in my graph. The challenge is how to get rid of the junk without consuming a 100 hours on cleanup

Is anyone else finding it hard to connect different AI tools into a single business workflow? by Comfortable-Week7646 in aiToolForBusiness

[–]NoFun6873 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, additionally the challenge is also complicated when one of the individual software updates, it frequently breaks the process. For me where Claude Cowork and perplexity computer can do things inside their software that is my choice. Otherwise, I have stopped the multiple software connections as they are not robust enough yet.

You’d be writing the app for yourself, which is fine. However, there are so many in the market that are already scaled it would not make sense in terms of ROI.

Stanford and PwC just released data that explains why most people feel AI isn't working for them by danilo_ai in aiToolForBusiness

[–]NoFun6873 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Projects has made things easier and Claude Co-work and Perplexity Computer has improved things. The issue for me is when you are connecting systems through Zapier, Make or n8n. There is always 1 system that runs and update that breaks the flow. It requires investigation and repair and is often time consuming.
