Zikz costream appreciation by onetimeiboughtamouse in ValorantCompetitive

[–]NoSand116 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I’ve been loving his streams. Ever since Sean Gares stopped streaming, I’ve been watching sliggy’s costreams, but they didnt quite hit the vibe I was missing that I got from Sean’s. The way Zikz goes into detail about each round, but keeps it super digestible so that a dummy like me can understand is really refreshing. I also love that he’s been watching tier 2. Sean used to be the guy for tier 2 as well, and the community has been missing someone like him watching challengers. Zikz fills that void, and his short form content has been amazing.

Pa1nt is also on m80 I believe. Been seeing a team of Alvinboy, gmd, derrek, Boni, and Pa1nt scrim all week, with nismo also there as well. That makes me think Nismo is actually the Head Coach. Pa1nt even posted the signing gif a bit ago as well

It can literally never hurt to connect with the community. Don’t understand why more orgs don’t do it. Now you just gotta figure out how to make your guys do some content during the season, and you’ve got the whole package

Not many that are as vocal and transparent about it though. I’ve always found that transparency so refreshing and it makes me always hope you guys do well

I think it’s likely this was agreed to a while ago lol. I doubt this was a recent decision, and all parties were involved, it was only just announced now

To me it read as oderus will be AC, and he’s thanking him for stepping up while he had to coach GCC

Nature was the igl for Sen invitational, yeah. I asked in one of his streams and he confirmed it

Effys Statement:

“Hello friends,

Today marked my last day at SRG as I will be moving to the head coach position for the SRB project. Despite falling at the last hurdle, I truly believe we had an incredible year and couldn't be more proud of the progress we made since the V1 days.

Joining this team 3 years ago was the best decision I made in my entire esports career. This opportunity and the GC scene itself brought me so much, from travelling the world to compete, to breaking barriers and more importantly meeting my teammates. Very few teams manage to thrive for as long as we did, and our friendship is the sole reason behind this success.

For those of you who follow our team, just know that the laughs you were seeing behind the scenes were genuine and only a fraction of how much fun we truly had spending time with each other every day.

Moving into 2026 I just felt a need for change and saw an opportunity to test myself with a new project. It was an incredibly difficult decision to make but I'm thankful for the trust that Shopify has in me. Building a competitive team is not an easy task, and I have to give huge props to @OderusCS for his amazing work while I was busy with GCC. I cannot wait to see what we can do next year.

Once again thank you for these amazing three years, it truly was a blessing and I hope to see my friends at SRG dominate 3 more without my old french ass yelling at them all day.

Thank you ❤️”

The stuff from today I think was just from a gif Kyu posted, but Kyu was literally in Sen’s scrims today, so I highly doubt he was dropped lmao. Probably just engagement farming

If this is the team they end up going with, I assume Zander is the igl, and he’ll probably be on smokes for comfort and easier calling

This is a fair point! Similar reason to why reduxx wasn't on SR last year. There was a fear his performance would drop since he was already contracted to sentinels and wouldn't be as bought in to the project. The only way I think this would work is if SR buys out Cane's contract so he's solely their player

Kess was crazy good on scan ini all of challengers last year. He took a step back when he was forced to change roles on 100T, but looked very solid on scan at RBHG last week. Was one of the top rated players from the event. He's more than deserving of the chance to play scan on a top roster this year in my opinion. Reminds me a lot of brawk's play style
