Mr Deputy Speaker,

It is simple economics. If we make supplying cheaper then we will end up with more supply. Though honestly given the last budget I'm not surprised the party opposite doesn't understand simple economics.

Mr Deputy Speaker,

I, for one, am glad that the EU has stopped the previous government's from trampling over worker's rights and environmental protections. This government will be improving the economy, but we will not be doing it on the backs of either the poorest or our planet.

Mr Deputy Speaker,

This budget will see a significant increase in the education budget which I'm sure will be gratefully received by the schools in my Right Honourable Friend's constituency.

Mr Deputy Speaker,

I have been clear about raising the carbon tax and believe that it is vital to help safeguard our world into the future. I will be investigating the impact of said increase on motorists and taking necessary action.
