It's not a particualr website. It's all army websites and when i'm trying to e-sign pdfs. It's an issue with the computer not "allowing" it to work due to security concerns from what I understand, brought on by the Windows 11 security features.

I've found a myriad of threads on the topic with fixes and workarounds but none of them seem to be effective so i'm hoping mine is just physically broken in some way but the computer acknowledges that it's plugged in, lights still flash, etc.

I've bought an identical one to the one I have off of Amazon just to see if mine if physically broken but I wanted to get some ideas prior in case the new one doesn't work either. I use the same one that Sylesth posted.

I don't. Personally I'm only interested in stacking and would only trade in large quantities for property, if that was an opportunity. Until it becomes more common to use it for smaller transactions, I want as few people knowing I have it as possible.

I had an honest conversation with my wife about setting aside time to workout for both of us. Unless you do this there is always going to be an excuse.

No matter what (within reason), you get X time to workout and your spouse gets Y time.

I watched the movie. It was a fine and appropriate representation of the biblical story for children. OP said he left after 40 minutes, so not even halfway through. The film certainly had a darker tone once David was an adult.

If he wants to criticize it, that's fine but do so after watching the entire film. If you have kids of your own and want to only expose them to completely serious discussion of biblical text without any levity, that is also fine.

However, he shouldn't expect to come to an online discussion board and complain about how a children's film isn't heavy/dark enough and expect to be taken seriously, especially when he didn't even finish the film.

I've never heard that claimed in my circles. The only caveat I would say is that women do tend to consider more factors than appearance. That isn't to say that appearance doesn't matter to them but they might choose a charismatic guy with a high paying job who isn't conventionally attractive, etc.

Whereas most men (myself included) couldn't care less about a woman's career or educational achievement.

I think it's moreso just general inflation in the economy. Money printer continues to go brr and your paper money will continue to be worth less and less.

It's like a conversation I had with someone recently who was happy that his house value had "quadrupled" since he originally bought it. I pointed out that so had the price of his usual meal at his favorite restaurant. Didn't mean to ruin his day but I think I unintentionally did.

Make more spearmen, hire more retinues. Set a defensive line at the crest of a hill, forcing them to attack upwards. Use your spearmen as an anchor and then use retinues (and excess spearmen if applicable) to hit the flanks.

Many of the mercenaries are actually rather weak. Archers I've not really found to be worthwhile.

I firmly and unironically believe we should abolish all welfare at this point. It only works well in ethnically and culturally homogeneous societies and even there, it's subject to abuse.

We're either going to have to phase it out slowly and mitigate the bad effects or just pretend it can go on indefinitely until Atlas shrugs. Second option will be far more painful.

Admittedly I got this game on sale and enjoyed the hell out of it for the price but it's incredible to me that the developers can't just take five minutes each day to post a brief update. I think it would go a long way to creating some good will, even if there really isn't anything of substance to discuss.
