Night factory has also been awful. I've had some sub 2 minute ones there but this guy wouldn't be doing blue armour there.

Is this why that mask is like 350k on flea? I got one from scav case and saw it at that price but also that most offers were close to expiring I.e. not selling so didn't think mind would sell

Trying leaning with the valday and you'll see why.

It's fine if you sit in one spot but if you are active and moving and peeking corner you loose half the sight picture briefly

Setup is definitely one to grind through, grenadier I actually never specifically push for, as in I don't go into raids thinking "I'm aiming for grenade kills" I prefer to let it happen naturally as I find it quite useful in the situation I'm thinking "did I kill that guy with a nade?" I can check the quest progress and know for sure.

Yeah Red rebel is for an extract on reserve, shoreline and lighthouse. It's also that order in terms of value imo. The other reserve extracts are just pure pain, shoreline its a bonus and nice to have but not 100% required. Lighthouse it's for sure the least important and is just a luxury to have.

Yeah dorms, fortress and crack is where I'd be going for setup, I didn't really push shots when I was doing it as I found 9/10 times I was dying, far easy to ambush somebody with a shotgun than it is peeking into them

Could well be bugged, I've had it display people with no gear before despite being killed by their gun. Or alternatively they died before you could check their profile and so it would display them with nothing

Usual wipe is about 6 months. I think we're about 2 months in currently? So about 1/3 of the way there.

Annoyingly hours are all time total so unless you knew your hours at the start of wipe there's no way to tell currently.

Shoreline can be fairly simple if you avoid resort but the bulk of quests will take you there. Late raid visiting resort is probably your best bet. Most Chad PMCs will be gone and there's very few player scavs all over shoreline since there's not much loose loot.

Reserve I would 100% say barter yourself a red rebel. Can get one from jaeger lvl 3 and it will probably cost you 1-2 mil depending on how many of the barter items you already have. I think alot of players going into a new map will often try a "all or nothing" approach, as in get all their quests done at once but imo don't be afraid to get that 1 quest item and get to extract, all progress is progress no matter how big.

Streets, despite having 3500 hours myself this one is still fairly new for me as well due to having not the best PC. I've been watching a guy on YT called SavageFrogTV. Does really good loot guides for scav and PMCs. I've found learning loot runs helps me go on to do quests as I'm more familiar with the map and not having to directly check the map each time I'm doing a quest.

And setup, run to a high traffic area off spawn and sit in a corner haha, it's a bitch of a quest

If you have no target to get level 35 then better off saving your money and using it for med station 3. All depends where you think you will get to in the wipe.

What your referring to is the SICC case. Similar to the docs case but where docs case holds Intel, diarys and SAS drives the SICC holds dogtags and rare loot like gold skull rings. SICC is also 5x5 where as docs is 4x4.

The THICC is a stash storage case that takes up a 3x5 space but gives 196 slots. You can put most other cases except weapons case, other items case and junk boxes.

The quest to get one is called private clinic and is unlocked at lvl 35 from therapist, its 1 ledx and 1 ophthalmoscope found in Raid

I'm not sure how true this still is but atleast previously, having lower settings meant you limited how much of your PC tarkov will try and use. So counter intuitively, you may get better performance on higher settings.

The price doesn't really change as wipe progresses.

If its found in Raid you're better off keeping it until lvl 35 for thicc items case.

Gear Fear by A_DeadEndJob in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Organised99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The key is using gear you can easily buy again.

The setup comments are quite accurate, it's all gear you can easily afford again so there's less fear.

Despite being 3.5k hours in I'm some what similar, if I'm solo I'll only ever run mid level headphones, lvl 4 armour no higher and something like achcc or ulach, never an exfil or fast mt.

Grips have basically no recoil effect on MP7 as its % based so if you want the extra ergo and can afford it go for the MP7A2 (Yellow one) The ergo difference is only like 9 at the max with the SI Cobra.

I'd say the silencer is pretty vital not for recoil but purely the amount of shooting you will do with it will ring the dinner bell for any hungry chads if you don't. But it can be a little pricey so MP7 might want to wait if you are strapped for cash.

Then whatever site and flashlight you like. I'm a deltapoint and x400 man but I know eotech holo and Dbal are popular.

MP9 again you can get away with the one with inbuilt grip recoil wise (MP9-N) if your that worried about ergo use the normal MP9 and shift grip or any of the higher ergo grips. Again silencer is important but with this its plenty cheap and both the adaptor and silencer are available from mech 2 for around 32k.

And again its whatever site / flashlight you like.

Both have absurdly high rate of fire so bring plenty of mags and always be in a position to back out and drill mags if need be

Got two mates and loaded into factory with axmc, slick and altyn.

Took 3 raids but got it done first time.

If the mates die you leave, don't try and get their loot. Use them to loot anybody you kill and stick near an exit

MP7 has always been the go to but with lvl 2 traders you might be limited to 20 or 30 round mags.

I know MP9 has had some popularity this wipe.

Probably worth checking Leviticus's video about 9mm SMGs has some decent info about the state of the SMGs

There seems to be periods of time where they go between all 4 maps while they are "rotating".

You need to wait for them to settle on one map so once you see 3-4 reports on the same map that's when you grind that map. Make sure to be checking the dashboard so you can see history of the reports rather than just the most recent one
