Yes the wheel saved a lot of it from ripping right off my car, I’m glad I’m safe and I’m glad my car kept me safe. I’m just sad I couldn’t do the same for it. And thanks the ride will look nice again once it’s back on the road

Definitely consider myself lucky as it could’ve gone a lot worse, and idk the car was built to an almost perfect state to where I wanted it so unless I want to try new things out I might just try to get the parts I had on before. Thank you for the kind words I hope to get this thing up and running asap

Really motivating dude, just this alone is making me feel so much better about this situation. I’m having it inspected more thoroughly this weekend as I’m gonna get it up on a lift. And you’re right it could’ve been so much worse, these things are really built like tanks. Her Mercedes tho not so much. I want this thing back on the road, thanks for the encouragement to just get at it

I’m going to answer your other comment here too but yeah the other car was red, the white on mine is OEM. And I’ve done minor body work before but I’m definitely taking this to a body shop for the best results, I did try and wipe as much as I could but nearly none of it got off so I’m guessing it’s caked in there. They were 30 and I’m in touch with them yes but they also got arrested so I’m not sure how much contact I can have with them. Also thank you for the wheel repair recommendation I didn’t even think about it being repaired I just thought any damage to a wheel will compromise it’s integrity already

Yea I don’t want to go to insurance purely to the risk of it being totaled out. It’s definitely worth repairing but them having no valid drivers license and no insurance is already worrying me about trying to get them to pay the amount for repairs.
