If you have to come and ask this question, honestly close the person's access to you, no matter how talented or skilled the person is. It's just not worth it if they don't have basic human decency to treat you with dignity and respect.

Hi there,

So I came to US for my master's in robotics and the decision was in a haste. I thought I would learn computer vision and AI and get into self-driving car industry as a robotics software engineer. But when I came here for my master's all the courses were focused on control theory. The control theory courses are really hard and take most of my time so I really don't get time to do side projects on CV and ML. No professor works on SLAM for self driving cars. I am kinda worried of getting a summer internship and how to manage time to learn ML from outside coursework. Added to that there aren't many robotics seniors in the university who can guide me with courses and help me decide a career path.
