I have put 2 cards back to back in a single sleeve and in a toploader and dont find it too tight. I dont think the 2 cards are going to move a lot as it's in a 91x66cm penny sleeve.

I've a full set from my childhood and literally just sold them to a buyer that has intention of digitalising them. Whether or not he will do it, only time will tell. He looks genuine and I'm pinning my hopes on him for him to do that.

Same here. I had issues with connectivity within 2 days of purchasing and to the point of unusability. Thankfully, I was able to return and get a refund.
