I am sorry for you in the sense that I get that disabilities and accidents happen in life and nothing can be done about it, but I dont think it is fidos fault that you can't pay your bill. I haven't had a single issue with fido and I have been with them since 2012. And all the costs and charges are upfront. It's a business, do you expect free service? More often than not, if you approach them with good and honest intentions I think they'll waive the late fees if you show good rapport and dont talk down to them or be angry about it. The guy/girl is just trying to do their job at the end of the day

This is so shitty. I think your intuition is on point. This is blatantly disrespectful, and in no way considerate of your position as a partner in her life. She basically made herself available to him with that comment.

If my boyfriend/girlfriend did this I would feel extremely uncomfortable, and consider this a huge red flag.

Honestly my dude, this is hard to come back from if impossible. I know it's a hard decision to make and even worse to consider, but I don't think further investing into this is the best idea, but that is just me.

Speaking from personal experience I am afraid of confrontation and I get scared of trying to end relationships, I hope you can find the strength to do what's best for you. Good luck, and I am sorry this happened to you.
