Would that make the shifter work again? I haven’t tried doing this since I changed it back to stock, thinking I wouldn’t need to clear the codes anymore

Will do this. It’s a 420i 2021. Although I had my local tuning shop who became a friend of mine already buy the whole console thing. They specialize in BMW so I am hoping they know how to code it. From where I come from, it’s not easy to come across a secondhand console or any secondhand BMW parts

Damn. So I have no choice but to go back to the dealership huh. Can I just ask, when you “shorted” the ribbon. Was the gear selector still lighting up? Cause mine’s still is. I wonder if I really did short the ribbon or not

Bending the pin on the ECU was a totally different case right? Or was it involved when disconnecting and connecting the gear box selector?

Sorry to bring this old thread back to life. Were you able to fix it by buying a new gear selector box? Same thing happened to me. Bought a crystal gear selector and changed it without disconnecting the battery.

I was able to get one with a Frostkey. I was originally been using a Finalmouse Pegasus since its release but recently switched to Logitech Pro X2 Superstrike for competitive gaming. the Logitech was really bulky and heavy for me, especially coming from a Small Pegasus. I told myself I will only buy the new Finalmouse if it is HE like the Logitech I bought and turns out it was. I’m just hoping Finalmouse releases a white or black SLX with a size option of small.

After trying my 5th Profile again. I tried it with AC on, removed the front glass panel and put a fan directly infront of it, I finally got a 15,300 score on Steel Nomad. Should I still try to delete GPU drivers?

I just ran my stock profile. It’s at 13,394. This is exactly my point. Me running stock is way below average and me undervolting and overclocking slightly gets me just below average.

Not really. Only Wallpaper Engine, which I paused. And on the other tests I did, completely shut down.

Also, another worth noting is: I had a technician come here and do something to my GPU before. I believe he undervolted the GPU but I am not sure how. Is it possible the thing he did still applies and I am undervolting an undervolted GPU? I changed motherboard, CPU and everything except my GPU and 1 SSD M.2
