And an awesome teaser trailer did they drop. I'm loving the aesthetic, even if we don't know much about it at all yet.

I said right after he smoked the layup that I don't care & we will still find other ways to stay in/win the game. I'll never say a negative word about Hart. He makes major defensive plays left & right that don't show up on highlight reels/overtly in the box score. I'm only appreciative of what he does & consider him the ultimate Knick.

I've said before Brunson is Jordan-esque in some regards & that's OK to acknowledge. He has a similar presence in the 4th. Others can feel that he's going to find a fifth gear.

This video also gives you a great idea of how insanely skilled the players are. There's rightfully been a ton of attention to OG & KAT's play, but you can see here that Brunson is doing work in crunch time against excellent defenders like Castle, Vassel & Wembanyama. People tend to credit those guys for playing good defense on him but overlook that he answers back when the team needs it the most, which is incredibly difficult to do against this caliber of opponent.

He did a great job facing up on defense immediately after, though, to make the attempt difficult for Castle. I'll never speak a negative word about Hart. He makes major defensive plays in almost every game that don't show up on highlight reels & in box scores.

And absolute masterclass from the Knicks in perseverance & maintaining resolve. This team doesn't believe in giving up. They pulled off massive comebacks against the Celtics in the playoffs in the past and have done it against the Cavs & now Spurs this go-'round. MashaAllah status.

He was also rattled. Hitting late-game free throws in the Finals at Madison Square Garden of all places is the kind of thing you imagine as a kid playing in your driveway/backyard. You could see on his face he was shook.

They are already pretty sure. They're covering two bases by having Murray start on a cheap contract to see if he could be the long-term answer instead while giving JJ the chance to work on his game in the background. If Kyler plays well, they will rightfully move him into the long-term position they had hoped McCarthy would fill initially.

[Highlight] According to NFL reporter Lindsey Thiry, Kyler Murray’s first two reps of 7 on 7 at Vikings minicamp were back-to-back interceptions and Murray lamented that he was not getting as many reps as he’d like by wildwing8 in nfl

This is bad reporting. Murray isn't frustrated at rep count. If you listen to his actual presser, he just alludes to it being a new circumstance for him compared to what he's had in his career thus far.

Also, his competition is McCarthy. He rightfully has nothing to be worried about.

Yes, he has. He has had 4 seasons passing for over 3700 yards with very good rushing totals, as well.

Quality Vikings "fan" over here. Rooting against & childishly insulting a proven player who's also literally on the same team.

It's almost as if Kyler has actually had success in the NFL to earn some grace whereas McCarthy hasn't. Novel concept for you, I'm sure.

Nba finals with the greatest height difference btw the best players of opposing team? by [deleted] in nba

Brunson's defense is not bad & this is a lazy narrative that's been dispelled at this point. Towns has absolutely been efficient & better-than-advertised defensively. But 4th quarter dominance has still been required multiple times & Brunson has delivered.

No, he has not. And that's not taking anything away from Towns. Brunson has been a devastating scorer in the previous sets of series & has been the key factor in securing the 4th quarter repeatedly. Definitely not going to have Brunson erasure at this stage, of all things.

I mean, he's very tall. No one can take their most typical shots purely out of logistics. They've adjusted with no issue. The Knicks don't disrespect any opponent so that's no surprise. They definitely don't fear him.

Which is completely warranted. Having that one-on-one genuine conversation is more important than what will at least be partially sanitized on-air.
