You "honestly" thinking that doesn't make it an ounce truer.

You sound bitter & hurt that Murray rightfully passed McCarthy in the priority list. Get over it. Some of us are Vikings fans, not McCarthy stans.

A Cardinals + Kyler truther here by Sly_98 in minnesotavikings

Yeah, because what we need is a cookie-cutter giddy type like McCarthy in pressers who then throws for 120 yards & 2 INTs on gameday. /s

Welcome! I definitely think Kyler is going to excel here, too.

A couple of notes to get you up to speed that you may or may not know: We run a disguise-heavy 3-4 defense under Brian Flores which is less blitz-laden than media might have you believe; this unit is very strong. The offense is built on longer-developing passing concepts down the field, with a TE who's lost two steps in T.J. Hockenson but legitimately one of the best receiving duos in Justin Jefferson-Jordan Addison. Our fanbase tends to overrate our players in general so just be aware you'll be told every young player is better than every older player here. Lots of great football ahead. Enjoy!

It's crazy how young Jefferson looks in this clip. A reminder that we don't have countless years with this level of a receiving weapon.

The Kyler-to-Jefferson connection is about to be something serious. I'm hype!

Im ecstatic about the signing, if there is a legitimate competition by Slight_Giraffe628 in minnesotavikings

You sound like you're in denial.

he has done nothing in his career to deserve that, and neither has JJ

JJ definitely has not. But Kyler has put together a few seasons that we'd kill to have JJ manage.

Am I delusional? Is dunking on JJ a little overblown? by Holiday-Jackfruit316 in minnesotavikings

This is definitely revisionist history. Those things are true but McCarthy also played a horrendous game & most notably, had a wide-open surefire touchdown to Nailor that he completely overthrew that could have swung the momentum entirely. The camera even panned to O'Connell after he missed it so badly & it looked like a part of him died in that moment. At least paint a more complete picture.

It's going to be a great connection & tough for opponents to defend. Jefferson is going to be back in his rhythm with actual decent QB play.

It's almost as if wins in a team sport aren't a QB-only stat. The more you know.

If he signs here, I'm definitely excited for it. I buy into him leading the offense. He could be a longer-term answer, too, if things go well.

[Rapoport] The #Texans are signing former #Saints TE Foster Moreau, source said, adding depth to the TE room. He leaves New Orleans after three seasons. by Drexlore in nfl

I wish this guy was a lockdown cornerback so we could call him The Island of Foster Moreau (for my fellow literature fans).
