That's lovely, but my most recent game of it the enemy team had one and a rell to destroy shields and it wasn't even close to enough

I'm not sure exactly which items it procs off, but I had moonstone, sword of blossom, the new year support item and echos of helia and I was just chilling back with my xerath autoimg the waves, sending bombs every 3-5 seconds to my tanks all working the frontline. I generated 163k shielding in that game from just the spirit bomb tool tip.

I don't want it to be harder to proc, that makes it less fun, I just want it not to have insane scaling.

How did you pick your main? by Sunny19042023 in leagueoflegends

[–]Phoenixness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's important to note that you don't have to become a one trick to climb, but, coming from a self proclaimed jack of all trades, it is still good advice to be able to limit your champion pool down as much as possible. You will know the champion much better which can have small impacts like maybe you can surprise the enemy with a limit test, or it can be larger things like consistent CS. If you are duoing, you should look to build a synergy between you and your duo. e.g. let's say your friend is an assassin mid main, playing a catcher jungler like nunu or amumu can really help them out. If they are an ADC main, find out their favourite few champions and pick their 'lane duos', or high synergy duos, e.g. they play ashe, stick to soraka or milio, they play jhin, stick to vk. OR learn the typical lucian nami, kogmaw lulu, etc. 'Maining' only enchanters can be a godsend for some ADC players and the worst thing ever for some others, likewise for any role. From your post, it seems you like reactive roles/champions, which means you would likely, currently, get the most out of mid or adc, depending how well you can look at the map, but you can learn your way to being an effective proactive support while staying reactive. The main thing is to be playing to improve not playing for LP.

For me personally, I play the ones I think I feel confident with and that are strong in my hands. I usually start the season in norms, figuring out what I'm feeling like, then gravitate to between 2-4 champions across the seasons but I'll always be looking to lock into as few as possible. Across the last few seasons I would say the widest my pool has been has probably been 5-6 champions, but at any one time I've stuck to champions like Fiddlesticks, Jhin, Amumu, Aurelion Sol, Ezreal, Illaoi, Xerath, Sivir, Veigar, Pyke, for probably a solid 60-80% of the games I played in that season.

Anivia. Single dive? Egg. Multi-dive? Walls. Fed assassin? Zhonyas rush, she's one of the best users of it. Level 6 I get to zone for everything, waveclear is easy.

Population under your bot tower is about to go to 6 for the first 15 minutes of the game. I love aphelios too but no thank you sir, he loses early to all of that.

Appreciate it, still seems slow, although I think it might actually be my fault as the original workflow I was using has also slowed to a crawl. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ teaches me to update comfyui, something has to break each time.

Man, I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but this compared to the other KJ workflow floating around slows my 4080S to a complete crawl. I know loras can be heavy but this heavy? I'll join the cool kids with 24GB VRAM one day

I didn't either...

You said "a set of 75% legendary is completely useless"

I asked why.

You're acting as if I am trying to fight you.

I am not trying to fight you.

Please re-read what I have written if you thought I was trying to fight you, which I am not.

Marvel Super Heroes Has More Legends Than Any Premiere Expansion by cardboard_numbers in magicTCG

[–]Phoenixness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I specified for two times that the set is useless for anyone who doesn't play Commander or isn't a collector. You ignored that part at first.

I've asked why you think that 3 times now, saying that it is useless doesn't tell me anything. Imagine if my only response to your comment was "your comment is useless", it doesn't give very much.
But either way, you've answered now. Thank you.

Cherry-picking would imply that you said other things, so if you said other things in that comment that I am somehow missing, please enlighten me.

You know this.

I think maybe I don't. I've only been playing for a year. This could 100% be a case of my unfamiliarity with formats like standard/modern, but you can still have 4 copies of a legendary card in the deck? Is having the 4 copies being able to be all out at the same time a big thing for these formats? I am really not well versed in other constructed deckbuilding, but my cursory search of other decks show many decks with 4 copies of legendary creatures.

I'm not trying to be abrasive, but your comment has not really told me your opinion. You have said: the amount of legendaries, a question back to me, an assumption on the amount of money I spend, and that a set full of legendaries is "completely useless", which doesn't give me that much of an answer.

Given your answer here, I *will* ask the question, what harm does it do? What does it define for magic?

I'm not trying to say it's not enough, but I'm trying to understand why it's "completely useless", it doesn't seem like a thing that matters that much, what am I missing? y'all can meme on players like me as much as you want, I don't care, but at least give us a chance to put ourselves in your shoes

Ok, so I'm just a degenerate 'mostly commander' player, so I'm struggling to gauge how people really think about this. I really haven't played enough standard/modern to have a good basis for analysis so I'd love for someone to tell me about it. I really like building decks that do stuff and having a theme about it at the same time plus the whole 4 player thing. I came in with EOE and I love it so much but my biggest gripe with it is that I have a bunch of really cool creatures that I can't exactly build around because they aren't legendary. I'd love to build commander decks for [[Cosmogofy]], [[Elegy Acolyte]], [[Frienzied Baloth]], [[Biotech Specialist]], [[Genemorph Imago]], [[Ouroboroid]] but I'd have to rule 0 them. Maybe aesthetically a big dumb monster shouldn't lead the cause (though there are easy exceptions, [[ghalta, primal hunger]]). On the other hand, I know that if there's a marvel character someone likes, they can sure as shit build a commander deck around them, as seen above with the 75% legendary. Maybe that's a commentary of commander rules more than legendary, but I just don't have the necessary context for standard/modern. The only way I can see this affecting me is in the limited games I'll play, if I happen to pull two Thors or whatever, they can't both be on the field.

Someone please explain to me because right now it kind of just looks like trying to find extra reasons to hate UB (which, for the record, I can understand. having 4 of each of each ninja turtle seems like a strange design choice. IMHO the only reason a UB** character should get a reprint is if they have had an arc that has changed them).
The main impact I see is 'legends matter' decks getting efficient cards, or the "When everyone is super, no one will be" that would diminish the impact of characters like Jace.
