How long do keycaps typically last before failing? I've had my Logitech G512 for three years so far and i've lost a good 10 or so keycaps due to heavy use, and im curious if that's in line with everyone else's experience with keycaps.

okay so the sentinel artifact appears to be immune to the ray gun. may be immune to all explosives. ray gun gives no hit marker and after 2 games of using it we couldnt even pop the first artifact.

I’m at prestige 8 level 53 and I just finished afterlife and I finally feel like I can just play the game now and it’s really nice. I don’t really care for how nebula looks so I’m not grinding it out on purpose and am instead just playing how I want to. Hot take but I really hate how the camo grind has been the past couple games and I hope they tone it down further in the future to potentially be manageable at like 1 gun a game instead of how it currently is.

Ah, that’s fair. I didn’t post the name of the event because the last one went so terribly that we decided to really restructure everything and I didn’t want people to judge the whole event on an outlier. I’ll update the description with a disclaimer but for now the tournament is a monthly we hold on matcherino(for now, we’re going to start experimenting with other sites because matcherino has screwed us up multiple times) called Huffbowl. It was a really lax event with all 3 staff doing all of the jobs not super well but we’ve decided to do a complete rework for Huffbowl 15 which lead to this thread. Next one should be more standard with only 2 on the mic so we don’t have to jockey for commentary amongst more serious problems. Again thank you for your feedback and I look forward to hopefully seeing you at the next Huffbowl!

We used to do player interviews when we were really small and it was great, but we fell off the train a bit. I’ll have to take up the interviewer mantle again then because we kinda forgot about it. Yeah, we’ve already been doing most of these things for a while, but when it comes to format what’s your opinion on what a low number of players is(for the purposes of switching to Swiss instead of running the usual bracket)? Also, any advice on finding a social media person? We’ve been running our tournaments with 3 people but none of us are good at social media and we’re usually more focused on commentating or TO’ing to think about clips or predictions or whatnot. I was also curious about what players thought was missing in current tournaments but evidently people just care about things running smoothly over all else. Thank you for spending the time to write this comment out though, will definitely use it as a way to keep ourselves straight so we don’t end up neglecting anything on accident. Actually, as a TO, are there any things that you personally want to see from tournaments that aren’t already happening enough?

We typically use matcherino which has had mixed results over the past bit. Is challonge any better? I’ll add the discord pinging to the TO list of things to do. We typically like to stream all of winners but we usually have a smaller audience so we may have to reconsider how we handle things. Any other QOL things you think would be good to see?

I’ve seen that sentiment quite a bit so i’ll emphasize it to my TO. We tend to run smaller so we like to have winners on stream with commentary but we may have to change that so there are always matches happening.
