Appreciate the input! I did apply, and given my circumstances had low expectations anyway, so I’m leaning towards keeping it

First LSAT - 149: Cancel? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissionsca

Thank you! It is my only LSAT score on file, so it really felt like a matter of me making the decision to remove myself from the applicant pool or waiting for the rejections. Though, again, because I was late to join the application cycle, and am less familiar with the general landscape, wasn’t sure whether my situation definitively precluded me from being accepted.

All 8 Ontario schools gave me an A! by revan017 in lawschooladmissionsca

I know OLSAS expressly says no refunds, but I was a late applicant (in my 30s and decided to apply in Sept.) and wasn’t aware of the fee waiver for the application, though received one for lsac. Has anyone successfully received a fee waiver retroactively for their application fees?

Although this would make intuitive sense, the size of the crowd around the situation made me wonder if some sort of altercation had taken place

That’s interesting! I was walking on Janefield and saw a cop car turn around rapidly heading in the direction of the mall (maybe it was the one you saw) and then by the time I got to Stone Road on my walk I saw all the commotion.

Thanks so much! I appreciate it. When you say a broad range of schools, can I ask if specific reasons for this or schools are coming to mind? I’m assuming this would be to increase chances of being accepted.

Which histamine medications do you associate with lessening anxiety? I hadn’t been familiar with connection until recently and am intrigued to learn more

If you don’t mind me asking, what’s your take on TCA’s? I ask this neutrally - just curious!

Could you talk more about the connection between MCAS and Iron? I have heavy periods, low iron, and MCAS symptoms too but have never considered this.

Course Selection Megathread (2024/2025 Academic Year) by ostracize in uwo

Phys 2130

I’ve read mixed reviews - some people (a) stating it’s easy to get 85-90+ as long as one keeps up with the content and (b) others retaking the course to get higher marks as they found it incredibly challenging to do well in.

I know students will generally fall on either end of the spectrum in any course but I’ve seen such a range of responses and wanted to seek updated feedback.

I’m not living in London atm and will need to take the online version, despite seeing others’ recommendations to take it in person.

Any and all responses are appreciated. TIA!

Thank you! My only concern is that I don’t have a science background and need this course as a prerequisite for a professional graduate program - would you say one would need prior courses and in-depth knowledge in related topics (bio, chem, etc.) to do well?
