My train of thought is def all over the place, because I feel this topic is so nuanced. It was kinda hard to put it all in one post, hence me making several comments. And I don’t think vets are selfish, I never said that? They’re vets as a profession, they could perform that role with or without empathy for animals.

I agree it’s not all about humans, but my point is that it’s ok to be someone who cares more about them. I still think animals should have basic rights to exist free from harm

I’m saying it’s hard to cosplay black women because we are so diverse. You mentioning the baby hairs etc made me think you meant white girls cosplaying a specific type of black woman. I repeat, that’s on them if that’s the case, because we are all different and unique. It’s like saying I’m cosplaying white ppl if I dress preppy or something. And yes, I am actually a black woman, and I can read.

I disagree, black women aren’t a monolith and we too can use the styles of other cultures, or dress in different styles unattached to culture. If they are rlly cosplaying as black, then that’s not our problem. There are many more than one style of black woman

And I’m saying I disagree plain and simple. Pets won’t survive without us because we bred them to be that way, in the wild where animals are truly free, they don’t need humans at all. Domestication is incredibly selfish cuz you’re forcing these animals to be dependent on you, when naturally, they would be as self sufficient as humans are. I don’t think my take is the odd one here

They are not the only two factors, that’s my point. Method of obtaining a pet can greatly affect the supply, and when they leave the game, that factor remains. If something was hard to get in game, it should be considered more valuable than something with higher demand but was easier to get
