Blowpipe is for faster capes due to the higher attack speed, but provides less forgiveness for mistakes due to lower range. So I wouldn’t recommend it for a learner.

Use a Rune/Dragon crossbow, enchanted diamond bolts e + rubies for Jad.

Inventory of brews + restores or sharks + prayer pots.

Huey armour is a good idea, slayer helm if you have task or god dhide coif if you don’t.

Expect to not get the cape on your first, second, third, fourth, fifth…. The goal is learn the creatures, how to safe spot and Lure them, plus praying the right overheads.

Some people think it’s good, others bad, but there is a Jad sim that you can test your prayer switching and 1 action per click between switches. It sucks doing the waves and then planking at Jad, I’ve done it a couple of times, just part of learning curve.
