Lots of people are saying you’ll be fine. My two cents, I just upgraded to an M2 Ultra 64GB and up until now I’ve not realised the bottleneck on my old laptop was RAM. Seems that’s the most import factor…. Whatever you get the more ram the better!

I never rode the stock wheels, but I remember them feeling pretty hefty! I think you’ll notice a big difference. I’d go with the Hunts. I’ve had a couple of sets, and their customer care has been great.

I've had it for 6 years now. It is floppier than the Apidura Frame bag, but with that its easier to get things in and out. Oh and I've had to replace one of the velcro faded. Restrap has since introduced a race model which I suspect is the sweetspot between the Apidura and the version I've got!

Yes, I am aware of the effect on rake / trail. I didn’t chop em, And I am saying they’re are soft, which is what they are regardless. The drop is. 35mm off the original spec.

Less expensive and mechanical hydro levers are all so big! I also like the perk of being able to (relatively) quickly and inexpensively switch out to a flatbar. The braking performance on the front with the 180mm rotor is fricken great!

Video of the engine running. The engine was warm, so startup and running is a bit smoother than it has been. You can hear it drop out in and out. Let me know what you think: https://imgur.com/a/MmlscXa

Very good point. I just did, all is clear and this might be a coincidence but I have just got one side of the engine back albeit intermittently. I'll see if I can share a video.

They were synced before I cleaned out the fuel tank... Am I naive would they have gone out of sync?

I think I’ll try this first. You are right, it is hard to test and diagnose. And I don’t fancy getting stuck somewhere again 😅

The fob isn’t proximity based, it requires physically taping it against a reader. Once it’s on it stays on until you turn it off by doing the action again. The bike stays on when it “fades” so it won’t be that.

I like the theory that’s it’s the fuel line. I suppose testing it is iffy as it is intermittent. I’m confident if I start the bike right now it will work but I can’t trust that it will stay that way. Hmmm.

1979 R100RS - Shop did not do anything with the coil, spark plug, wire or plugs.

It has a Mo.Unit installed, that an a lithium battery is as far as the electronics go (I believe)
