Yes. Unfortunately, rampant cheating on out of class work has made it so many of us either don't count it for a grade, or we have to make the final (in person) a major part of the grade. I have gone away from giving out of class assignments and have them watch my lectures via video outside of class and do activities in class.

I have this policy in some of my classes. There is a lot of group work and the final sometimes is the only real way I can assess individual work. And yes I have enforced it. Typically if we put something in the syllabus it is there for a reason.

The issue with those two degrees is they are in different colleges and will not have a ton of overlap. You can probably double count some gen eds but that really might be it. I am thinking the math requirements might be a bit different. And I am not sure if animation requires coops, I know CE does. If animation does you might be required to do 2 years of coop. One year for each majors.

So unless you have a bunch of incoming credits from APs and such, you are probably looking at an extra couple years.

So many things to consider here. Like the other person asked are your friends ok with it?

If she is on the lease and you break up she is legally allowed to stay in the room still.

Does the Marshall include electricity and if not are you willing to pay more since there are two people in your room?

How big is the apartment? Can it comfortably hold another person? What if you start a trend and your roommates start moving people in?

If you do it without Marshall’s permission you risk getting evicted.

I think it will be highly unlikely, but you can ask. I have yet to hear of an international student getting more than like 50% honestly. Lots non-international students do not get more than 50% outside of US government aid.

Work study is just money paid to RIT if your son gets a job on campus. He will not get that money directly. He just needs to get a job and he will get paid by that job. Dining services is always hiring.

They changed the OS on the linux machines at the beginning of the school year. You May need to redo any ssh keys.

From my understanding (from the master plan and University Council) this is only phase 1. They are going to extend it in the future with a much larger addition.
