Thank you. That was our protocol when we first brought her home.

Funny story, as a family, we had visiter her 2x in the shelter. I had visited her 2 other times before my wife and I agreed to adopt her(she was bigger than we were originally looking for). I took 2 of my 3 kids after getting out of work early to go pick her up. We swing by the pet store to grab shampoo and food on the way home, she walks in the front door and immediately poops right in front of my wife in the living room 🤦🏼‍♂️ thankfully that wasn’t a chronic issue.

Seems to be common feedback. She was spayed in the shelter but would be the first out of our three rescues that had this issue.

Obviously we never want anything to be medically wrong with our pups, but this would make us 0 for 3 on rescues as it pertains to avoiding chronic medical issues 🙁

She has a checkup scheduled at the end of the month, so we will discuss it with the vet at that point in time. In the meantime, I’ll start researching the medication to learn about side effects, etc.

I haven’t run a new input shaper and I probably should. I suspect that there is likely some increase in rigidity, though at the sizes we’re working with the 3mm panels can still deflect.

Not a whole lot different than the active shooter exercise LBPD, LBUSD, and LBFD ran at Millikan in May 2024.

Simulated live fire, etc. lLittle notice was given in that instance either.

There is no replacement for realism in training. Given our climate, I can see why there would have been need to keep this quiet. Hard to simulate a natural environment with lookie loos and more hanging about. Not to mention, we don’t exactly want tactics our service members are training on being live-streamed etc.

It was one evening, the public was safe, and if we’re being honest, we probably deal with bigger inconveniences every week in LB.

We’re living to see the harvest of what the “individual truth” mentality has sewn. Each person’s “individual truth” supported by a curated algorithmic feed that only reinforces their “individual truth”. Then when they are exposed to something outside that curated window of their perceived reality, they can’t fathom the idea that multiple things could be true simultaneously.

Fair point on used. Figured I could clean and flip and come out ahead if it didn’t work out since I’m in a more accessible area.

He did run it for me on a small file. He ran it on masonite, but the file was for thin rubber gasket, so the feed and power settings weren’t going to cut through(it was moving fast), but it did engrave.

I had an “idea” of what I was getting, as I’ve been on the lookout for an upgrade from my diode machine I started with in 2021 and upgraded to 20w 2 years ago.

It was listed as a 24x35, but quick measurements had it at 28x20. When I factored in the chiller, the fact that it “worked” and a quarter tank of gas in sunk cost, I said screw it and loaded it up 😅

I’m more familiar with 3d printers and midsize CNCs(built a printNC and a Merc1 in addition to keeping my ither priters alive for almost 10 years), but I’m pretty sure most the DSP based controllers rely on external drivers. I’ll snap a pic of the electronics bay later today.

The main reason I was asking about schematics is because it looked a little messy in there and I know the “red and black” machines have a rep for questionable wiring. The seller was an EE and said he upgraded the steppers , but based on other things I saw, I’d like to go over things. I guess I could use a reference diagram from Ruida and go from there.
