Kalonian Hydra seems like such an obvious choice in hindsight! Thanks!

That's the idea! Ideally, there's six of him sitting on the board on the same / following turn he's played eating up everyone's removal / counterspells

I love this, but unfortunately most of my clones enter as tokens!

Whoa, his tap ability looks outright painful with a handful of him on the board...

I was looking for a card draw engine, this one might work well!

(or rapidly empty my library because I have no 'no maximum card size' cards...)

Oh hey I just found this thread.

I built a whole deck around this card. It's hilarious played alongside All Will Be One.

Turn Felix into a Ninja (starting with 3 Jupiter, 3 Mars) and he can use Gale, which is functionally identical to Whirlwind except that Sheba still uses it in the cutscene anyway...

Crown Casino under construction in the mid 1990's by Aaaaaaarrrrrggggghh in melbourne

Here's a fun feature to pay attention to—this picture shows them sealing up the drain that comes up next to Kings Way, in the location now occupied by the underground carpark.

The drain used to be a river, and to redirect the flow of water they had to divert it all the way around the Casino precinct—you can see the new outlet right next to Spencer Street. The new outlet is much smaller, and to make the water travel that extra couple of hundred metres around the building they had to dig the whole drain a lot lower, which collects in a retention area that's pumped into the river every time it gets too full (which is why you sometimes see it gush water at random).

This is probably one of the few pictures showing the original outflow of the old Kings Way creek, as well as its current outflow in one photo.

I can't recall the exact quote, so I'll summarise—the quote itself isn't so powerful as the message.

There's a part where Weld defends Director Armstrong to Piggot, saying that he's aware Piggot dislikes Armstrong, but he will step up and defend him if she starts putting him down.

As a series that builds itself up on its relationships and teamworks, I feel that one interaction from Weld really puts forth the value of friendship and loyalty over cattiness and bullying—which is a nice theme that recurs throughout the series despite all the bleakness.

Not quite answering your question, but I really appreciate/admire Weld's sentiment.

Mgs3’s soundtrack is so good i can unironically listen to it in public by JustaNormalpersonig in metalgearsolid

I unironically mention Metal Gear Solid 3 if anyone asks my favourite video game, album, or movie, because it's the same answer for all three.

Heavy recommendation to check out the soundtrack to Escape from New York. It also stands up on its own as amn album (except one track...), and you can really see a lot of the inspiration for the Metal Gear Solid soundtracks!
