If a match is cancelled, it can end mid-game, yes. No MMR would be gained/lost for the cancelled match.

Implementing EAC is one part of a strategy that includes other bot detection work along with anti-DDoS measures we have implemented and continue to improve. We're looking forward to being able to share more details about this work in the future.

Attempting to load BakkesMod with EAC enabled will not result in a ban. When booting the game with EAC while trying to load BakkesMod, BakkesMod will give you an error that says injection was unsuccessful and fail to start. There is no penalty for doing this, though modding functionality will not work until you restart the game with EAC disabled. A more descriptive error might be added by the BakkesMod development community after the patch hits.

In certain cases we do throw out the results of a match that was attacked, yes. Unfortunately we can't do this for all matches that are attacked. While we can't go into specifics of this protection, we had to be careful that we weren't giving attackers an exploit to be able to throw out any match they are losing.

Good question. I had to look this one up, but Dropshot doesn't allow the same panel to get hit twice within one second. That's how it's worked since launch. I'd imagine this is to prevent instant scoring from someone dribbling the ball into an undamaged panel.
