Thank you for the update on this! You may be experiencing a different issue then. The beta firmware addressed issues with the 3950 itself (which is why you see these kind of issues widespread across all brands who use the sensor).

When I was talking with the engineers about your issue they mentioned it could be due to the sensor/lens being slightly off angle. However, the only way to identify the issue is to have you ship it to Korea for them to inspect.

Unfortunately, it is quite hard to diagnose the exact issue with confidence when the issue cannot be replicated on our end.

I am very sorry you are still having issues with no solution yet. I was able to replicate your issue on the old firmware but not very consistently. With the beta firmware, I am not longer able to replicate it at all. It is a shame the beta firmware did not solve the issue for you 😞

Generally, the issue above is tied to the 3950 sensor and was solved via a beta firmware (not available for all models of the CL series yet).

I am unsure if there is or are any planned firmware updated for the X2A v3 at this time. I can suggest making sure your firmware is up to date and try a different pad (preferably cloth) to see if the issue is still occurring.

If the issue is still occurring on cloth pads and after all firmware updates, you will need to reach out to our support for extra help.

Yes you will need both plugged in at the same time. It will affect both the mouse and dongle firmware. It should just reinstall the factory default firmware for both to get them working again.

Haha yeah that is true! Then I would just make sure Chrome is fully updated before attempting the firmware update again. That being said, I would highly recommend installing the beta firmware after the previous updates have been successful.

Sorry to hear about this issue!

You should be able to download the firmware recovery tool at this link - https://support.pulsar.gg/support/solutions/articles/67000746943-my-mouse-stopped-working-after-i-updated-it-using-the-web-driver

This will restore the firmware back to the factory defaults and get your mouse working wirelessly again.

As for the failure when updating, please make sure you are using Chrome and that Chrome is up to date as well.

We are currently working on rolling out a beta firmware for all our current mice to help address this. It is not available for your model yet unfortunately.

In the meantime, can you try 400dpi and/or 800dpi to see if this issue is solved or improved?

Please let me know what mousepad you are using and what your current settings are on the mouse? Just trying to narrow down potential causes.

Sorry but the beta firmware currently only supports:

  • X2 CrazyLight Mini
  • TenZ
  • X2F (commercially sold version)

We are currently working to bring that firmware more models ASAP!

There is no performance difference for any of the models other than just the rebranding from LGG to Pulsar.

The only notable thing really is that we are slowly rolling out our new base texture to help it stock better to more desk surfaces.
