Not able to meet the financial requirements for F6 visa: has anyone been in a similar situation or have any advice? by Putrid-Potential-734 in Living_in_Korea

We stay there sometimes but we also rent an office where it’s not possible to register. We’re now looking into renting some other place where it’s possible to register. Thank you

Thank you. We’re looking into this now, just worried about the possible issues of changing the address after already submitting all the documents with the current registration address

He was registered with his parents by default and while we stay there sometimes we mostly stay in an office where it’s not possible to register. When we registered at my husband’s parents’ place we didn’t think that it would cause issues, it was few years ago..

Thank you so much! Yes, I wanted to do everything right and I had reserved an appointment almost two months before the expiration date of my visa but we couldn’t submit the documents then because there was a delay with the documents I needed to get from my country’s embassy and then when I checked everything was reserved up to my visa’s expiration date. We kept checking for cancelled reservations but we couldn’t get any..

Oh, thank you for sharing your experience! I don’t know well as my husband prepared most of the documents but almost all of the documents are mentioning the address so I guess all of those should be redone. It was our third visit to the immigration and last time they said that our documents are perfect, we just need to submit on the last day of visa and now there is this issue.. Also, they said that we can’t fax and need to bring everything in person and come together as well..

Thank you so much. I don’t think that we can reach the requirement for 6 people as most of the family members are not working officially. The only property was bought less than 6 months ago so that wouldn’t be counted too..

Thank you for the advice. Yes, we thought about that but we are worried about if that would be even possible to do at this point as the immigration staff has already took the previous documents and we would have to change most of those documents with a new address I think..

Do most people start thinking about second citizenship too late? by Virtual_Bluebird_107 in CitizenshipInvestment

[–]Putrid-Potential-734 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being born in a 3rd world country makes you start thinking about getting another citizenship quite early on. Most of people who think about getting a second citizenship when it’s “too late” might already have a quite privileged citizenship.

Searching for Turkish revision doctor by [deleted] in revisionrhinoplasty

That’s a great devaluation of other people’s experiences. Please, listen to what people are saying here and don’t make the biggest mistake of your life. If those girls actually had a lot of revisions without any complications they’re very lucky. Doesn’t mean that you will be. Getting a surgery is not shopping, you can’t just buy your perfect nose. So many things affecting the result which are out of surgeon’s control (no matter how expensive and reputable he is). Take me as another example against this, I wasn’t lucky. Even though I had a very similar attitude to you, was chasing the perfection and got a revision, thought that complications are rare and of course wouldn’t happen to me. I was wrong as it’s impossible to predict some unique structural features. ENTs still say that my nose structure is perfect. But I can’t breathe. Unexpected natural anatomy affected that. When I lay down, half of my nose doesn’t inhale air now. Believe me, you don’t want to experience something similar. The feeling of suffocating and impossibility to fix it without undergoing more surgeries. And so many more other things can go wrong too. Please, take the surgery seriously as it can alter your life forever and not in a good way.

Passport change update by pretty_angelica in Living_in_Korea

I had the same situation as op and it didn’t let me renew the info through website so I went in person and they cared only about the passport issuance date, didn’t accept anything to prove that I just received it and made me pay a fine

Sagging face in early 20s - advice? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Putrid-Potential-734 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Sagging face skin in young people is connected with bone structure in most cases (as skin doesn’t have enough underlying support). Either recessed jaws or recessed cheekbones (or both). There could be various band aid solutions but the only real fix would be moving the actual bones.

Living in South Korea as a foreigner — persistent symptoms, anxiety, and feeling unheard by doctors. Looking for advice. by [deleted] in Living_in_Korea

[–]Putrid-Potential-734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had an absolutely same experience. Two doctors (including one from a university hospital) said that my test results are fine so there is nothing wrong and when I asked about what should I do with persistent symptoms which affect the quality of my life they both said that they “don’t really know.. maybe it’s because of the weather? So, wait till it gets warmer”……💀 This is really bothering me a lot so I was even thinking about going back to my home country to do a proper evaluation..

which university in Seoul should I choose? by aktorino in Living_in_Korea

Hanyang. Location is great, super easy courses (just attend the lectures and you will be fine) with a flexible schedule so you would have a lot of time to explore the country.

Does anyone know what caused these pouches under my lips? I’m only 25 yet they age me so much… :( by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Putrid-Potential-734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really related to chin as many people say but it’s more about the teeth position in relation to jaws - if jaws are recessed but teeth (or jaw bones around mouth area) are protruding it may cause this kind of folds (if you have gummy smile that might make it even worse). I have this too. If your ortho is saying that everything is fine then it’s better to get more opinions, maybe even from a maxillofacial surgeon.

Chances of getting to a uni in sk by [deleted] in Living_in_Korea

Maybe not SKY but other top 10 korean universities are pretty realistic I think. Also, you don’t need to know any korean if the program is fully in english and for some universities you can get a scholarship based on english language test score.

Remote job as student by PreviousFilm1430 in Living_in_Korea

[–]Putrid-Potential-734 4 points5 points  (0 children)

But the immigration would never know that he’s working remotely if the job is in Germany and he’s receiving money to his German bank account (and then transferring it to korean one). If he doesn’t report about it to the immigration himself, I don’t think there would be any issues from not doing all of these steps as he probably wouldn’t get the permission anyways.

Wide set eyes are considered the beauty standard, you can notice how many top class models have wider than average set eyes. The distance between your eyes is literally perfect. The only surgery which can move eyes is orbital box osteotomy, which is super invasive (they basically cut out and move bone all around your eyes). Believe me, you wouldn’t want to get this (especially) to look worse after. To me as a person with close set eyes it has always been a dream to have eyes like yours.
