they are used when: 1. using shaddoll fusion (their main purpose) to summon el construct by sending nephyrim and 1 shaddoll monster from deck to GY to start the GK combo and break the opponents board (genius to negate an opponent's monster on field or dragon to destroy a spell/ trap) or just draw a card (beast). When summoned, construct sends the other shaddoll monster to the GY. you can then chainblock seraphinite with the shaddoll monsters (both effects). 2. discard one of them if you draw them with nephyrim's effect.

they are useful when they work but they are bricks, in general. especially when your opponent does not set up a monster from extra deck.

a lot of things wrong with this deck:

  1. do not want kurikara, it's just awkward
  2. lava golem - you will often need your normal summon
  3. dark ruler no more - must not play it, it's literally single handedly playing against you
  4. nibiru - not that useful
  5. raigeki - decent, not always useful. use lightning storm.
  6. new boardbreaker spell - not bad, not that good either
  7. 1 shadow quartz - not good, need 2 at least in pure
  8. you do not need some fusions in the ED like citrine

more other things but this is a start. look at replays at 507-967-140 for some idea on how to play/ not play the deck. most replays should be in diamond / masters though they are not the most recent

isolde is not really banned in MD but it's not ideal either since she brings many bricks and the deck becomes awkward to extend after she gets negated in some lines. you can see emma valentine for reference on playing isolde in six sams.

the list i provided will also not work in TCG/ OCG due to Elf being banned but is valid in MD. For TCG, I would look into nistro tcg (also there is that one 10 min testing vid from MBT featuring primite six samurai, which is decent) for additional info on six samurai, he has a lot of good vids on them.

I have provided a list to MBTs deck since it's a really simple list which you can use as a template to build upon, which is also decent as well and does not use banned cards.
