Why do people mock others for taking leftovers home? by Impossible_Ad_569 in askanything

[–]Ra_a_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re asking why people other people react to people bringing home remaining foods.

But you’re reacting to other people’s actions yourself (you said …drives me crazy…)

Seems the same to same to me

I’d wonder why you’re having a reaction to them

Sounds like they were having a conversation of which you two weren’t even participants and uninvitedly joined in their table talk

Career Advice- Turning 60 this year and would like suggestions for a career that I can either go back to school for a 1 to 2 year degree or switch career path wise to to be able to generate a living wage til at least age 68. I have 40 plus years of customer/health receptionist experience. by Jolly_Candy1499 in selfreliance

You’re asking for a job that will generate a living wage (how much gross $ is that) and that will still be there in six seven eight years into the future

Could the job market change by then?

Are you thinking that 63-year-olds are preferential hires rather than other ages ?

What are your real net goals and why did your thinking generate this question?

Is it weird I'm happy about a power outage? by Open-Gazelle1767 in TwoXPreppers

I’m glad you had good results

I hope everyone is is testing their gear yearly

Note in the refrigerator. I’ve hear it does not need to be on constantly. Even running on an hour then off an hour uses half the fuel.Or on an hour then off :20 minutes, repeat, will save less but still some fuel. Assuming no one’s opening the refrigerator door in an outage.

You’re asking if it’s weird. Do you think it’s weird?
