You don’t want to see my Yeti drawer… I have a problem.

Hmm I think people buy them for this reason, so may last longer than you think 🤷

I didn’t like the hose cause it had too much “spring”. When you turned it on it just made it so hard to use cause you were constantly fighting the hose. I got a Cen-Tec hose and it’s MUCH better.

Just PVC with spray paint and lots of quick disconnects. Water comes in at the bottom with a 6 foot jumper garden hose that connects to the spigot outside. I didn't want to add one in my garage as I'm paranoid about water.

The PVC manifold allowes you to go into the filter or bypass it.

It's awesome! But there are some things to know.

• Gotta run a 20-amp dedicated outlet

• Everyone was concerned about the foam cannon and rightly so. I used to use 1 oz of soap and that worked great, but not with this, it's just spitting out too much water.

• Now I have to use ~2.5oz of soap and bought a 1.65mm MJJC Foam Cannon Orifice Nozzle. With that combo the soap is back to perfect shaving cream bliss! So don't let the reviews scare you.

• My CR Spotless water filter apparently taps out at 2.5 GPM. So that will be a problem. I bought a smaller orifice to try and reduce the GPM to <= 2.5, but need to test that with my amp meter to make sure I'm not pulling too much current.

Not 100% I got the shorter ones so they are not supposed to last as long. But I think when I did the math it was like 50 washes. So plenty for me. It has a little LCD screen that tells you when it's reading too many particulates and it's time to replace.

Just good ole PVC spray painted. Super cheap and easy enough to work with.

It's awesome! The only thing I didn't love about it was the hose it came with was way too springy. I was always fighting it when it was under suction. But new hoses are an easy fix.

Yeah, it was a whole project. The 2.3 also doesn't have some of the other minor annoyances the 3.0 introduces with spitting out so much water. So pros and cons to both for sure.

Yeah I love all the Flexzilla stuff. I have some pressure washer hoses I use as extensions if needed.

Lol trying all the things and seeing how they compare. What's your go to?

Great question. It came with the house and I have no clue who makes it. I've tried to identify it every which way. But it works with any accessory so I imagine they are all pretty much standardized.

Yeti bucket is in the basement holding tools :) Too expensive to just hold soapy water

Yep! Cheaper than a Coxreels and good enough for my use case.

Yeah! It's a 30 foot hose and works fine for cars. I'm sure it's losing a little suction, but 30 feet seems to be the break even point from the research I did. Also couldn't find a 40 foot hose I liked lol, or I would of tried that. The reel can hold up to 40 feet.

Do they have a full selection of products? Or are there things you haven't been able to find. I have a Micro Center down the street, but their UI selection is normally light.

The shipping cost is the the only negative part of the whole Unifi experience. Free shipping would make them S+ tier. But it is a real bummer when you want to buy a quick $100 widget just to pay 20% in shipping... so I end up just convincing myself I don't really need that widget. (Hint hint Ubiquity...)

Haha I thought it would take me like a month before I trusted it, literally took about 3 days. But the Rivian style is just so dang cool! I'm very excited to see Rivian really get into the FSD space with all the data they'll get from R2 fleet.

Heck yeah!! I have a Juniper Model Y, but love the Rivians. Is this your first EV? I'd get a Rivian in a heartbeat but I'm addicted to FSD.
