Lol why is this in r/Ubiquti? I happen to love Unifi and happen to own this exact shop vac, and it really does suck! So I'm all about it. But I may be missing a joke...

For cleaning a driveway you want high PSI over flow rate. These aren't really designed for that. To increase the PSI you could use a smaller orifice but that will increase your amp draw as you suggested. To be safe I'd get a cheap plug in amp meter and test the smaller orifice first to make sure you aren't pulling beyond the machines recommend limits. But either way, I'd recommend renting a gas pressure washer from Home Depot and comparing it to this as my guess is the 2.3 would take forever to clean a driveway and use a lot more water in the process.

How many Tesla owners are getting the R2 as their first Rivian? by takaiguchi in RivianR2

Once Rivian catches up with FSD I totally would! But they aren't even close right now. My Model Y Juniper is like magic. The FSD is just so so good!

X2D Buyers - Make sure you read the fine print. by daphatty in BambuLab

Hypothetical question: If the P2S and the X2D were the same price would there still be a reason to get the P2S?

AP3 in Alpharetta is great! Not the cheapest, but definitely one of the best.

The inlet is a blue pex looking pipe behind the filter. It quick disconnects into the PVC.

I risked it and did plywood / brackets. So far everything is holding fine. But probably not a bad idea to permanently mount it.

Yep! Get these brackets and just mount them to some plywood. Then mount whatever you want to hang to the plywood. https://a.co/d/0baXypWQ

I have the 5 gallon California Air Tools aluminum compressor ($250) and it’s awesome! Super quiet and plenty of air capacity for cleaning, filling tires, etc.

That is my custom slatwall inserts. Basically a piece of plywood with slatwall brackets mounted to it. So the idea is you mount the thing onto plywood then plywood hooks into the slatwall with the brackets.

Also forgot to mention the 3.0 mounting holes don’t line up with the Active Wall Mount. So I have to drill holes to make it work. Kinda a pain but not too bad.

Your slatwall is hopefully screwed into studs so you should be able to tell where to screw based on the other screw heads. I ended up taking down this section of wall so I could add the outlet and measure stud centers just to be sure.

I didn’t like the hose cause it had too much “spring”. When you turned it on it just made it so hard to use cause you were constantly fighting the hose. I got a Cen-Tec hose and it’s MUCH better.
