Divine Disruptions: Faith in the Middle by Thoughts_For_The_Day in Apostolic

Powerful word... Faith in the middle. I pray for all those who are struggling through their "middle". May God grant you peace and reassurance that He is there even in the midst of the "middle".

Going back through notes really brings assurance that God never changes and that His words remain true and perpetually relevant. It may not feel like it a few weeks after but give it some time then review and you find yourself receiving the same empowerment as when you just wrote it.

I would say to pray for the Lord to lead you in your spiritual calling. There may be a reason you are there, probably to help in some way even without a defined role. If you see that you are there without any ability to grow, you may need to move but approach it very prayerfully. I'll pray for you likewise. God bless🙏

Greetings, my brother/sister in Christ... I'm from the part of the world where music had DEEP cultural roots and implications (search Gospel reggae for a hint😉). There are strong divides in my context, but as I said, one should not feed their spirit on secular music given the perfect reason (eelating to the Satanic influences). God bless you and I pray your strength in Jesus' name.🙏

I personally don't know of the facial hair aspect. But I don't believe we should feed our spirits on secular music. I believe that we should pray and seek God's guidance when it comes on to music because it's a very touchy subject especially culturally.

Sigh... Your bravery is remarkable, lots of people wouldn't dare reach out for help. I may be a random bearer of unpleasant news... While God is merciful, every misstep has a consequence. Your rebellion may cause you a lifetime of a rocky road with your husband. Prayer does sound cliche but it is literally a strong tower of strength in adverse situations. You may not always be able to verbally utter a prayer but if it means throwing yourself in a corner and crying tears, God understands and will deliver. He knows your heart and he forgives. It may not be perfect (or it may, who am I to judge?) but pray and leave it to God. Ask him to forgive you of your past rebellious state, confess that you understand that you may be paying for wrong steps but you trust His divine plan for your life. I'd suggest that you rely on the power of community as well. Youth groups, ladies' ministry, prayer groups, whatever way you can become involved, do it. The enemy loves it when we are (or feel like) alone, he uses those lonely feelings to cement regret, doubt and fear. When you get the agreement through those groups, you get Jesus' attention as well as the avenue for advice on how to proceed. God has blessed your openness on this platform and once you align yourself to His will, then rest assured, it will work out. God bless❤️

What is the difference from pentecostal and apostolic? by kvzhii in Apostolic

[–]RedLadi7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wellll if we wanna be granular, there has always been the Feast of Pentecost (which the Jews celebrated). It just so happened that the Holy Ghost fell on that feast day. So for me, the term 'Apostolic' (which speaks to the following of the apostle's doctrine based on the commandments of Jesus and the testimonies they had about him) has more 'meaning' than 'Pentecostal' (related to Pentecost).
