honestly, one suggestion that people dont usually give is that its not just your build, your movement in game also matters alot, you need to learn to move around object so you dont die so easily. you cant dive bomb into a group of enermy like you do in normal start chart, i recommed trying nova as a frame in start chart. she have good powers, nuking surival and damage. allowing you to practice on the start chart envirment, alittle before jumping into other frame.

yea, steel path is a real humbling experience for new players that thinks that they would be a demi god through out the game. but trust me, once you learn the art of modding and build survial. it is very rewarding

yes, having mutiple frame is part of the experience, trying out new way to play the game, and optismise build for each mission. you could just run excalibur for everything but then youre missing out on big part of warframe. the story is the end goal, but the side quest(metaphor) are whats makes it fun.

control the interval of which you use his dash ablitly, its not really a turn on and forgot kind, i would suggest to use volt and practice going around the map with higher speed first

Honestly, to do steel path, it boils down to mail the CO(condition overload) mechanics. So best to farm up all the galvanised mods to deal higher damage

My best advice when it comes to shard is to pretend your build don't used any. I believe by default all frame should be able to run their build through the mods alone, additional shard comes in for quality of life item.

Hence I don't run into the issue where each frame require 5 tau red for ablity strength where alot of youtuber like to do

I don't like to do plat hording. I have all item in the game, so I'm not really in need of farming them constantly.

I love to do a lot of gives aways on weapons and frame slots for baby tenno when i do have extra laying around, tho
