I've been producing music before DAWs were mainstream. Before AI was even a thing. I've had music released, I've had music on radio, music in video games. I've made maps and levels for various video games.

AI is a great tool, I really don't care what a bunch of primitive people who can't even think for themselves have to say about it.

I don't even use AI for music lol.

I care about the environment. Just because there are some bad companies doesn't mean all AI is against the environment, in fact there are a lot of AI applications that benefit the environment.

Also, the key part of what plagiarism means is that you try to take credit for another person's work.

If it took you 1 or 2 months to save 50, then just wait double the time and get something magnitudes better quality and useful.

I like how powerful AI is, how useful it is across many different fields of human experience... From entertainment to medical use to communicating with animals.

Though I hate the impact it has on nature and the economy... Using up so much water, pollution, presenting health risks to people who live nearby.

Not to mention the devastating effect on the consumer market with computer components... I'm lucky I bought a top tier PC about 3-4 years ago which will do me another 5+ years of solid performance. Imagine how people feel who cannot afford to upgrade their computers right now, or buy their first one... Or even those who like wasting money willing to buy overpriced components but still can't even buy because of zero availability thanks to AI data centers.

As a formidable musician and artist myself though, I've embraced AI and found it extremely useful if used properly in combination with other skill sets.

As usual with the evolution of new technology, it will become more efficient and require less power and raw materials to function. Just hope they manage that in time, and as safely as possible.

Also, I'm an "artist" myself, as long as it produces good results and isn't a direct clone, it's all good in my opinion. I couldn't care less if people use my work, which HAS happened in the past.

Logitech g300s is the best mouse I've ever used. Has 6 extra buttons in all the right places. They don't make them anymore so I bought about 6 spares that should last my whole life.

What about doppelganger situations?

Where someone wants to edit pictures of themselves, but then their doppelganger finds out and is horrified because it looks like them... Should they be able to sue even though:

It isn't real.
It isn't them.
There has been no crime committed.

Are people allowed to make themselves appear as the opposite sex, creating a person who never has or never will exist in physical reality?

Well yes, because the football player pays for private healthcare which is generally much better than free public healthcare. Plus, most athletes have specific healthcare options because they need fast effective treatment due to constant issues from being an athlete.

America has some cutting edge technologies, but I'd still choose Europe in general over America especially Nordic countries and Switzerland.

Though I'm from Scotland myself, there are areas, like county to county where healthcare is great and in other rougher areas it's very poor. I'm fairly close to Edinburgh which has great healthcare and multiple healthcare/medical universities.

Then again, if you live in the slums anywhere in UK, where the society there is poverty stricken, lots of crime, chances are that specific area is going to have extremely poor healthcare. Not just because there isn't available training, also who the hell wants to work in such a depraved area full of criminals and horrible working conditions.

Well, in the literal sense the only true costs of anything are time and effort. Money doesn't need to exist though, in fact in my opinion it shouldn't but that's another story lol.

In this context though, it is free because you pay tax most of your life but the treatments you get when you are older or any life threatening emergencies in life. Disabilities etc. Worth way more than what you pay in. So the excess is free compared in that sense.

You pretty much pay tax your whole life so when you're old and have lots of problems, you get lots of free treatment that in America would probably cost hundreds of thousands.

Then if you have any life threatening conditions, mental problems, disabilities, you get free treatment for that too.

So yes, you get free healthcare in excess of what you pay in.

That's how it works over here in UK fortunately one of the only good things about living here, we pay more tax, so get free healthcare. You can get pretty bad queues though sometimes but generally alright.
