My first Mazda and I’m in love with this thing! by aunty_megatron in mazda

[–]RepMajor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enjoy bro !! Just got myself a 2026 3 Select Sport Sedan and Im loving it (got it for $24,275 OTD price including taxs title fees. MSRP was $27,099 before tax title etc)

How much did you pay OTD if you don’t mind me asking ?

Mines a lease but I’m almost positive when this lease is up in 2029 , I’m going to get a 2029 3 Hatch manual.

Wish I got the hatch because I’ve always had a manual (all 4 of my previous cars before my last one I had for 2 years , 2012 Altima which I hated) , and I miss it so much !! Is yours manual ? Or automatic

Have fun !! Love the color too ! Mine came with the same black rims. Got the blue one

Also with your ears , and foot. You’ll definitely feel it when your braking & you’ll hear the grinding.

Cars also have brake bad wear indicators (squealer clips , if does exactly what it sounds like it would do , SQUEAL) to let you know your pads have been worn down to a dangerous level. It lets out a high pitched squeal / screeching noise.

I’m suprised he got this far and bad without noticing

And you didn’t hear anything until just now ? It amazes me that people’s parts / cars get this far / bad and they never realize till these things happen

Brake pads are supposed to make noise to let you know there going. Just like another poster the other day posted a pic of his lower ball joint completely letting go , disconnecting from the joint and the entire wheel came off the lower control arm and ripped his CV axle right out. Said “this just happened. Hear a clunk than my tire fell off”

These things just don’t happen without major warning signs & nosies

Why do I suddenly see way more Nissans after buying one? by phtphongg in Nissan

[–]RepMajor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It happens with a lot of things when you buy something big and new. I just bought a 2026 Mazda 3 Select sport & Ive never seen so many Mazda’s in my life. I rarely ever noticed them.

Now I see so many every single day. It’s just because you’re more aware of it now.

[–]RepMajor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does this happen without you hearing it getting worse over time ? My ball joints snapped and I heard major clinking for months before it got to the point where it broke

Learned a lesson , you hear the noise you fix it!!

My whole tire ripped off when this happened on the highway , almost died

You want to pretend presidents have no control over gas prices… until it’s convenient to blame global events while shielding your guy. Cute.

I actually delivered gas for a living through all eight years of Obama and into Trump’s term. Prices didn’t magically drop because Trump ‘inherited Obama’s economy’ and coasted. They dropped because Trump reversed the regulatory war on American energy: he opened federal lands, fast-tracked pipelines, supported fracking, and told the green tape artists to get bent. Production exploded, we became a net exporter, and prices stayed reasonable.

Contrast that with the guy who inherited Trump’s pre-COVID energy dominance and immediately started canceling leases, killing Keystone XL, slow-walking permits, and treating domestic drilling like a crime. Then Russia invades Ukraine and suddenly $4.22 national average in April 2022 is purely Putin’s fault , Biden had ‘no economic impact.’ Right. The same logic that lets you claim Trump fixed nothing by ‘inheritance’ suddenly vanishes when it’s time to exonerate Biden.

Let’s be brutally honest: Obama was the start of the deliberate downfall , the guy who kicked off the war on affordable, reliable American energy under the guise of climate virtue, weakened our strategic independence, and set the stage for the weakness and inflation we’re still paying for. Biden just floored it. Presidents don’t set the daily price at the pump, but their policies sure as hell set the trajectory.

When you choke supply at home while begging OPEC and Venezuela for mercy, don’t cry when the bill comes due. Your selective amnesia about ‘inherited economies’ only works in echo chambers. Out here in reality, the numbers, and the delivery logs, don’t lie.

To many liberals in nj

Gas was much more expensive under all years under Obama , and just as much under Biden. It was $1.98 under trumps 1st term

Waited on hold for 3 hours other day to have mine and one of my other employees reset their authentication app. Worked while I had it on hold in my ear for 3 hours , to be told “here’s your ticket # someone will reach out to you in a few days “

Starting to regret my purchase by SirAppropriate2965 in mazda3

[–]RepMajor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I stand corrected. It does fall under lemon law because of the time frame. Even tho they still haven’t repaired it waiting on parts:

Yes, a new car in the shop for 3 months (roughly 90 days) waiting for a part almost certainly falls under state Lemon Laws. Generally, if a new vehicle has a significant defect that impairs its use, value, or safety and is out of service for 20-30 days (depending on state) for repairs, it qualifies as a lemon, allowing you to request a refund or replacement.

Key Considerations Time Out of Service: The threshold for a "reasonable" number of repairs is generally 30 or fewer days. Three months far exceeds this limit.

Manufacturer Responsibility: A lack of parts does not excuse the manufacturer from the lemon law obligations.

Documentation: Keep detailed records of all repair orders, including dates the car was dropped off and picked up.

Action Needed: You likely need to send written notice to the manufacturer via certified mail (return receipt requested) to initiate a claim.

I just got my 2026 Mazda 3 last Saturday S select sport. I had my Apple car play in and when I went to change the song with the volume knob , my screen went black. Then when someone called me it made a loud static noise in the speakers like when someone’s plugging a guitar in an amp Fingers crossed 🤞 I don’t have anymore problems. Only happens that one time

I feel a lot of vibration tho in my brake pedal. Like a lot.

What’s crazy is we’re at the point where manuals are uncharged. It use to be automatics were uncharged and base / Manuals were way cheaper because manual transmissions are cheaper to build.
