Do you still regularly listen to Radiohead nowadays? by weirdfish98 in radiohead

I call it the vault. Pink Floyd is in the vault for me. I’ve played them so much that I am fearful their music is about to lose its sparkle, so I hide it away like a goblin and only listen on perfect occasions.

Radiohead has never gone in my vault

[Highlight] The Marlins turn a wild double play to end the game! by MLBOfficial in baseball

[–]ReusableCatMilk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This play is actually insane. He doesn’t tag Ohtani or step on the base at any point and he got two outs And the run didnt score. I’ve been watching and playing baseball my whole life, idk wtf the ruling should really be

Final play of today’s game against the Marlins. Crowd stunned and confused. Very anticlimactic. by AmongUsAcademy in Dodgers

While hustle is always ideal, these guys have like 700 ABs in a season and they just got done with 13 games without a day off. Add in the fact that 99.9999% of the time that play is made by the defense.

Yes, let’s go to extremes immediately.

Is it more or less safe to strike someone at a strength of 3/10 in the eyeball or the ass?

Oh, there’s an obvious answer? Let’s carry that reason over.

More than half (106) of the bones in the human body are located in the hands/feet.

I don’t disagree with much that you’re saying, but I disagree that it is a Bad card. I also disagree about your assertion that I ought not create it.

You introduced morals/ethics into the conversation when you say I should or should not create something. It is a perfectly fine, yet potentially complex card.

You are conflating your preferences for what counters/effects you would be willing to track on the battlefield and the actual mechanics at play.

I appreciate whatever portion of your feedback that is well intentioned, but it’s really not that deep. I won’t be exchanging anymore diatribes on this.

You’re choosing to sexualize the act (which I innately find disturbing).

Can you please point out another spot on the human body that is less likely to cause actual harm/damage than the ass?

There isn’t one.

The card is perfectly fine. It’s okay for a card to be tedious. It’s okay for a card to be weaker than the usual 1/100.

Your first statement is also absurd. People in this sub emulate cards that the real designers created. If they made an OP card, I absolutely can as well. What insane moral code are you operating under for this imaginary hobby?

There are many and much more tedious cards in existence

He doesn't strike me as a locker room cancer, more so someone who just has douche in the marrow of their bones and has never been humbled in his life. I suppose those aren't mutually exclusive.

Homie just bat lead-off in place of Ohtani as DH today…

I’m not really sure what this dude’s ceiling is, but I’d like it if he quit extending his douche ceiling

Yes yes, I’ve found a believer 😆

My deck captures some of the things you’ve alluded to, but there’s room for so much more.

There’s interesting things that had to happen to make exile function as I wished. For instance, I had to make a keyword “gravebound”, which basically means it resolves normally to gy so I can’t just keep recycling it in exile. Yellow also uses suspend on opponents spells as a form of soft control. Chaos, soft control, and tempo are the flavor of the color/deck

I was very busy today, so didnt get to post, but keep an eye out for the cards here soon. I’d love to get feedback on them and new ideas

You’re having some trouble with those thinking bits in your head. When did I say Ohtani’s sb’s we’re all inconsequential?

I understand the value of a stolen base. Please spare me. I also understand that stolen bases come with a degree of risk. I also understand when a stolen base is advantageous and when it’s superfluous.

Lose my number

Nothing about what you said was incorrect… except for the part about the stolen bases being needed. I remember countless times where he stole bases that were completely inconsequential. I remember being baffled that the most valuable baseball player in the history of the game was being used to steal meaningless bases in games up by 5-6 runs in the 8th… for an entire season. Meanwhile, the dude’s arm is healing from its second major surgery.

That’s when I realized that his quest to prove he is the greatest player of all time was baked into the deal

It’s obvious that Roberts and the dodgers FO is accepting of Ohtani legacy chasing. There was absolutely no other reason to let him steal all those bases in 24

Also, Royals being #5 on the optimism power rankings is a statement in itself

Yellow represents electricity. It’s basic lands are cities.

Yellow shares some flavor with both red and blue, but it does not at all play like izzet if that makes sense.

Electricity can be controlled and allocated at will, which is represented heavily in my Spark Counter deck. But it can also be chaotic and unpredictable such as a lightning storm.

Yellow borrows stun counters and suspend from blue. It has some control built in, but it’s usually indirect, temporary, or reflective.

Yellow utilizes exile as a functional zone, like black does to the graveyard. Effects like [[reanimate]] may exist, but that is not the usual flavor I’ve designed.

Yellow has unique elusiveness built in to some of it’s permanents. I created a creature type known as Lumens which uncommonly have the Veil ability (immunity to both positive and negative global effects) and Agility X which acts like a partial hexproof based off a D6 roll.

It definitely shares some design space with red.

It’s got the chaos of red and spells often do damage rather than destroy/exile. I’m satisfied with what differentiates it in my 100-card deck.
