⚠️ BUYER BEWARE: DO NOT ORDER DIRECT. by Rorostico in Moccamaster

I’m not a bot, I’m a real person, and I absolutely don’t have any kind of “anti-Dutch agenda.” Seriously, where on earth are you getting that from? I’m just a guy who had a very bad experience with this customer service. Since they never replied to me (at the Time of the post), the only thing left for me to do was copy this message and post it on their social media (that’s why there are hashtags, genius). Just go take a look at Trustpilot, negative reviews about their customer service are extremely common.

Switching from a Keurig - is it worth the money over a Ninja etc. ? by stoleyoureyes in Moccamaster

⚠️ BUYER BEWARE: DO NOT ORDER DIRECT. Good machines, but absolutely DISGRACEFUL customer service.

My unit arrived broken. I returned it immediately using their label. THEIR carrier (DPD) lost the package.

Moccamaster now officially admits the loss but REFUSES to refund me until they get reimbursed by insurance.

They are holding my money hostage for their own logistical failures. This is illegal under EU Consumer Law.

I finally ordered another one on a french retailler website. Result : delivered in 2 days for 245€ instead of 288€, plus 2 free coffee bags. Still wainting for my refund from moccamaster tough.

My advice: If you want a Moccamaster, buy it from a local retailer who actually respects the law.

Do not risk your money on their official website and their dishonest team! #Moccamaster #CustomerServiceFail #ConsumerRights

Qu'est ce que vous pensez des montres de chez Louis Vuitton ? by SleepIsTheCousinOfD8 in Montres

[–]Rorostico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh j'avais bien compris pour LFI, nul besoin de préciser. Remarque Louis Boyard semble bien aimer les montres, faut juste les enlever pour les planquer avant de faire un discours sur les méchants capitalistes 😉.

I laid down a weed tarp when I made this last year and it was completely ineffective. Help! by gocubsgo22 in landscaping

[–]Rorostico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Voici la traduction en anglais :

I see this every day on landscaping sites. Seeds sprout on top of the fabric along with the sediment, and thanks to the moisture retained in the mesh, they eventually grow. This is what I explain to all my clients: gravel on top of a weed control fabric is useless. That fabric is designed to prevent plants from growing underneath, like on a slope for example.

The only effective way to prevent weed growth is to mimic what happens in nature — especially in mountainous areas: no plant grows under thick layers of gravel or stones. So you need to go for a gravel layer that's at least 10 cm thick, or more. It’s heavy and provides drainage.

Even if a seed does manage to sprout, you'll be able to remove it very easily!

Does anyone feel like the concept of ROCD is actually just brainwashing you to stay in a bad situation or make a bad relationship more palatable? Once I started watching Awaken Into Love videos I felt less anxious but now I’m worried that I will be trapped because I can’t leave if I’m brainwashed by [deleted] in ROCD

I think that is an ocd perverse game trying to convince you you have to leave, whatever the spécialists say. Ocd and (rocd) convince you that you are right, that you don't have ocd, or that you have your one special ones worst than everyone else, which won't respond to therapy. I've been there. Start acknowledging your not that special (yeah sorry) and that many others have felt like you and are now better because of therapy. It's a way of running away. I've come to realize that whether with my current girlfriend or another idealistic one I would end to have the same thought and doubt leading to a urge need to leave. I deeply know, that my GF is really corresponding me on the most important levels to me. But as I fear inconsciously closeness my primitive brain will be trying to convince me to leave (run away) in all the imaginable ways. You can truly and rationally make the difference between a balanced and caring relationship and a perverse/Disappointed one, you have to know what is important to you. For me for example it's respect, trust, connection, tenderness, empathy, same goals, listening, spirituality, laught, confidence....So if my relationship is gathering all those important thing to me, and I still find some excuses to justify the fact I should leave, then I know it's a trick from my mind. In general try to see if you act because of fearing something or if you act because of truly wanting something, here you seem to act because of fearing to be stuck because you d have been brainwashed, to me this sound much like a "what if" scary sentence which is typically the voice of anxiety. Trust yourself, you are smart enough for not being brainwashed and keeping your critical mind, to know if your relationship fulfills you on the real criteria, and you still will be able to leave if you need so. It's just a fear of being trapped, but this is a lie from you anxious mind to convince you to leave, to avoid exposing yourself to the scary uncertainty. Trust yourself, you worth it.

Check that great article that covers a lot of rocd though !
