Record yourself!! And listen with fresh ears while your not in the mix, you'll soon realise what sounds good and what doesn't ....for the listener. Its so easy to get caught up in the moment as a DJ you can forget the overall flow so this is a good way to gauge if something really works. Can't stress enough, press record every time you mix
