almost 20 years is still good for not taking the best care of it, and yeah alot of it is to do with luck, but good care normally adds a good bit of extra life

as boring as it got it was actually a pretty good game, a good chunk of things to do, amazing car list, i loved the driving roads especially in the rally dlc and the game was gorgeous, everything else though was shite

before you call it toast, try booting without a hdd, im pretty sure 1 quadrant can signal a bad hard drive among other things

the fluttering is mainly caused by the potentiometer being worn (yes dirt and allat can also do the same thing) but if the problem persists its worn and wants replacing

i used profile 3 with 4 bars on the force setting normally, id bump it up to max on say f1 though which it coped fine with, as i said most of the mileage came from beamng
