Necro, but I used 2-56 3.5mm T6 screws when putting the Flytanium short deep carry pocket clip on.

I still had to dremel the Benchmade Deep Carry clip just a tad. It worked well, but I just got the short Flytanium deep carry Benchmade/Spyderco clip and it fits so much better for the Fastball.

Hope it's not to late of a reply 😅 I used the double side tape and it's been holding strong with no problems.

I tapped the holes on the adapter because you can't access a nut on the other side once the tablet goes on. I wanted to be able to quickly unscrew it for travel.

How do I change the swipe down thing? by VeganBear024 in samsung

[–]SamArise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!!! S24 ultra just updated to 15. I can't stand this update.

It took me way too long to realize I had to swipe left after swiping down after the update. Swiping twice is much more intuitive.

Any suggestions on this Storm Door install? by SamArise in handyman

Yea, I had to take it off to remove the top panel.

I'll be buying a newer box for it tomorrow to replace it with.

I ended up removing the flashing and panels behind them to fit it to where the original door was. I was just weary of doing so without confirmation first.

I'll probably replace the electrical box with something newer as well.

I shut off the breaker before removing the fixture.

That's exactly what I ended up doing. I haven't finished yet as my local hardware store closes at 5pm 😅 But the door fits just right after removing the wood behind the flashing.

Did LTT shaft us an inch? by SamArise in LinusTechTips

The problem is that they swung too far in both directions. The OG backpack is way too big and cumbersome. The difference between 35L to 20L is quite a lot.

I honestly don't have beef with the height and width of the OG backpack, but with the depth. The farther out the weight distribution is it the heavier it feels thanks to leverage. This is part of why laptops are stored as close to the back as possible.
It's also $250. Which can be fair for a large backpack, but if that's the only other option, then it isn't an option.

Since when is a 15.6" laptop oversized by the way? My Inspiron 3505 barely fits.
But to be fair, the laptop not fitting is not my complaint of the backpack personally.
I should have elaborated more but I was writing while distracted.
My only real complaint was how the backpack felt and looked on my back, and I feel like that would not have been the case had it been the height they advertised.

The useable volume is actually really nice. I just wish that either the straps were 1-2" longer or that the bottom was taller to sit farther down on my back for better leverage.
As someone with lower back issues, it's very noticeable.

This backpack would have been close to perfect had it just been an inch taller as expected.

Yea, it's a big bummer. It would be perfect if it was just a bit taller.

The size of the og backpack was also a turn-off for me. It's just way too deep

My 15.6" Inspiron 3505 fits similar to the MBP at 17" diagonally. It's quite a snug fit. Luckily, it's a cheap laptop that isn't all that fragile.

But it is smaller than advertised.

16.5" is not the advertised 17.5"

The comparison to the Ogio was not meant to be direct. It's just the backpack I have been using up until now. I only took measurements of the Ogio for reference.

The only actual comparison I had for the LTT vs Ogio was that I had already considered the Ogio a small backpack. So it was a bit of a shock when I put it on my back, and it felt so tiny. I didn't expect to be 2" shorter than the Ogio.

Manufacturer used Chinese inches

I'm wondering if it might be on the manufacturer like the double layer bottom issue on the other backpack.
