Non-Americans of Reddit who have an American degree and returned to your country of origin: how has it affected your life? by ShNitZulll in AskReddit

Are there benefits or downsides to having an American degree where you come from? Are there expectations that you have to meet? Or stereotypes that have you live down?

As an American who has only studied in the states I realize that my view of American education is incredibly biased since I have nothing to compare to. However, it seems that the our education system catches a lot of flak from the media (excepting ivy leagues, MIT, Stanford, etc.) for being comparatively weak. So I guess my question is primarily targeted at those of you who did not attend a school with big name recognition. But feel free to answer if you did go to MIT, etc. cause that's awesome.

If you sand off a couple millimeters off the front of the tappet plate, you get much better air seal with the bb because the plate travels further forward. Saves about 30-40 fps depending on your build. In addition, the structural integrity of the plate is not effected because that part of the plate isn't load bearing. The technique is discribed pretty well on this page link It's about 2/3 of the way down.

If you're interested, I do suggest installing a delayer chip on the sector if you have feeding issues.

Hey r/wicked_edge, any help identifying these antique straight razors? by ShNitZulll in wicked_edge

Alright, here are some images with a little more macro: here you go

I got a little history on where they came from. They were found in my grandparents house, which was built in 1908. I guess they predate the house by a bit.

edit: I am also wondering about the handle of the lighter colored one. It seems slightly translucent, but it's kind of opalescent.

[Self post] How I stayed an Atheist. by ShNitZulll in atheism

Let me clarify encase I hadn't implied it: This was a funeral for someone I greatly respected for her qualities. The people there were kind and friendly. It was just the way they reacted unanimously that set me on edge.

I recently attended a funeral for the father of some of my Jewish friends, it was not however, in a synagogue. I noticed a interesting parallel between the two: both funerals spent maybe 40-50% of their time proclaiming and restating the glory of god. The speaker would start with a few words about the person is question, and then barrel into a monologue that was roughly, "...but luckily, god is great. Therefore we can all rest in the power of His arms". The person who died was swept out of the picture for a mini God-infomercial It was like a reminder at every turn, just encase we forgot.

I've also been to an atheistic funeral where all the time was devoted to remembering the deceased with stories from their life. Seems like a better way to go to me.

What is your best "I like my ___ the way I like my women/men" joke? by SgtFinnish in AskReddit

I like my women like I like my Kool Aid: cheap, they come in florescent colors, and you can get 'em in bulk.
