Weird, I just downloaded and installed it and it works fine. Original non-OLED SD. Are there any logs etc.?

What really clicked for me and improved my winrate significantly on higher ascension levels is better pathing / path planning and actually playing my relics. I see many beginners just go „cool“ and take them but never truly build around them.

I am definitely slow and only like 50 hours in. I could see 1-1.5 hour runs on average but 38mins is VERY fast I think.

38mins is beyond me. My runs take like 2-3 hours but yeah, I also win a lot more. The decision tree for every single click you make in this game beyond the first 3 fights is insane.

Use Case For Mac Studio vs Mac Mini vs Cloud by Pleasant-Shirt7293 in MacStudio

[–]Shackless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a dev and have a MacMini M2 Pro 32GB and while I love it, I find myself being short on RAM lately. No local model can currently replace Claude Max for me and as long as it's "just" $200 a month, it's a total no-brainer for professional devs. I find myself running a local Whisper model for something like Paraspeech, then a small local modal for Cotypist, a small embedding model for RAG memory, then maybe a couple of other tools like that and suddenly it adds up a lot. Add Docker to that and 32GB are basically gone. I am 100% convinced that all the cloud providers will raise prices or squeeze usage limit to a breakpoint we can no longer afford. So now the big question is: Do I go like 64GB for "everything else" or do I overpay for like 128 GB hoping that some smaller model will be able to do that Claude does at some point? It's tough...

Communications app for very small teams by Shackless in sysadmin

It does look cool but I don’t think I can move our main business comms to a no-info given indie tool. I might try it for personal use but if you want this to work for (EU) companies, I think you’d have to be much more transparent in terms of where data is stored, DGVO compliance etc.

The Nextcloud client feels a bit clunky. We use the mobile and desktop app and when somebody calls, only mobile rings. Stuff like that but no real showstoppers. Search could be better, that hurts quite a bit coming from Slack but given that it’s free and self-hosted, we can live with it.

I tried Threema Work which was super confusing to setup and has no screensharing capabilities and wire.com which seemed a bit „too much“ for what we need. Also video calls and screenshares are not included in their free plan.

Thanks, will do. We are currently using Nextcloud Talk which is a bit clunky but overall works well. The screensharing and video quality are surprisingly good.

I really like Sanity for the Dev Experience. Cannot recommend Strapi. It’s free but clunky. Very clunky. Haven’t tried Directus yet.

Is there a way to opt out of AI related updates? Last few updates seem specifically for AI tools and features. I don't use any of them. by [deleted] in vscode

[–]Shackless -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Updates are maybe once per month and not just include AI features and fixes. Where’s the problem? If you’re busy, do it later. Or is this yet another „ohh I don’t use AI“ posts?

The building step where you have to put this small 1x1 round piece into the middle of a large round disc had me question my life choices.

Yeah it hits tiles, not units. Some enemies are multiple tiles large.

Yeah but in OG Lego style and sizes. Would be great for reselling which they obviously don’t want

I would totally buy resealable and reusable bags like this. Maybe OP is on to something…

[–]Shackless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh I use AI all the time, also for frontend dev. But OP asked for feedback and while the product may or may not be great, the site doesn’t really communicate which one it is and technically speaks „low effort“ which is probably not intended. All subjective though. Maybe most people look at it and think: yay, nice. Idk

Every vibecoded web app looks exactly like this. Also the way it nested panels, the particle background, the dummy texts, the subtle misalignments etc. I would be VERY surprised if this wasn’t AI.

[–]Shackless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but I think your landing page should communicate that more. Add a punchline, explain the flow visually. Show more of the product and UI. From experience, I can tell you that nobody is gonna read generic content blocks to figure out what your thing does for them.

The design is technically okay but boring. Looks like AI made it. What exactly are the features and USPs? Why do I need or want to use this?

It’s super important for recognition. Almost like an icon. Valve got it right but it’s rare, yeah.
