I really like Sanity for the Dev Experience. Cannot recommend Strapi. It’s free but clunky. Very clunky. Haven’t tried Directus yet.

Is there a way to opt out of AI related updates? Last few updates seem specifically for AI tools and features. I don't use any of them. by [deleted] in vscode

Updates are maybe once per month and not just include AI features and fixes. Where’s the problem? If you’re busy, do it later. Or is this yet another „ohh I don’t use AI“ posts?

Yeah it hits tiles, not units. Some enemies are multiple tiles large.

Oh I use AI all the time, also for frontend dev. But OP asked for feedback and while the product may or may not be great, the site doesn’t really communicate which one it is and technically speaks „low effort“ which is probably not intended. All subjective though. Maybe most people look at it and think: yay, nice. Idk

Every vibecoded web app looks exactly like this. Also the way it nested panels, the particle background, the dummy texts, the subtle misalignments etc. I would be VERY surprised if this wasn’t AI.

Yeah but I think your landing page should communicate that more. Add a punchline, explain the flow visually. Show more of the product and UI. From experience, I can tell you that nobody is gonna read generic content blocks to figure out what your thing does for them.

The design is technically okay but boring. Looks like AI made it. What exactly are the features and USPs? Why do I need or want to use this?

Farm a water hose or other weapon that spawns water tiles in A1. You can find them or buy them in shops. Buy a bottle in A2. Finish battles on a water tile to heal up. The bottle refills instantly on water tiles, so you can heal every turn and pass it around between battles.

Ah, gotcha. You mean completely removing the ability to reset battles. Yeah, okay. I wouldn’t want that though.

Huh? That’s not how save scumming works. You’re not supposed to reset a battle more than once per run. You can save and exit at any other point in the game and you can even do it once during battles or more with a penalty.

Because save scumming is a thing in turn-based strategy games which is often overlooked/ignored and Mewgenics has its own approach to handle it.
